ALI PROJECT. Noooooooooooooooooo. I like how all their songs sound exactly the same. Fortunately, even they weren't able to ruin the awesome OP sequence. There were some interesting shots, and possibly foreshadowing for things to come: Badass Shichika Uhhh, someone who looks like Nanami? What in the... Also judging by the OP, Shichika and Emonzaemon will be fighting each other in the future, which was a likely outcome. Perhaps those unique guns are one of the swords? They seem to hold some type of significance. Shichika was interested in them, I believe. That aside, I liked this episode. Hitei and Emonzaemon are pretty cool and I'm curious to see whether or not he'll be able to kill Maniwa Houou. Last but not least, preview for the next episode: Ep. 9 preview Don't know why it wasn't shown. |

Great episode. Neat battles and all that. Enzaemon is looking to be a pretty cool dude. OP is so bad, though. When is ALI Project EVER a good idea??! |

Oh and also, I don't see why everyone seems to hate ALI Project so much D: Protip: I don't really check the forums anymore, so if you want something, take it on my profile. |

Oooh, so you're saying Shichika is becoming more...human? I was wondering when this was going to happen. Emonzaemon is quickly becoming one of my favourites in this show, and so is Pengin (SO cute.) I prefer Togame with short hair, definitely. And nuuu, ALI Project Dx - If you believe this place holds you, it is a prison. If you do not wish to leave, it will become a fortress. 1. Project Ali ruins another opening. 2. Eamonzaemon is cool. 3. I love Penguin. 4. I love that the show manges to paint the development of Shichika and Togame's relationship with ease and subtlety. 5. I hate the long-winded speech Shichika gave that was anticlimactic in that he didn't end it with "I love you." 6. Holy crap, he has his arm back. |

He took his arm?! O.o Ok, Maniwani are something else... New opening = nice, but i think I liked previous more. Togame and Shichika are getting pretty familiar with each other, which is good ;) Shichika finally showing more of his emotion, opinont etc. I like the way he's now :) Good ep. Waiting for Emonzaemon to finally show his "gloomy" face ;) (damn, he seems like hiding-his-face bishounen type... I'm so gonna laugh, when he'll turn out to be the most handsome dude in this anime xD) "Exchaning greetings" with princess - priceless :D |

so next sword is a solar powered doll, plus it seems one of hte "swords" might be two pistols the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures |

Another damn themesong from Ali Project *bleh* With her new hairstyle Togame looks so damn sexy, but in a cute way =D And another loss for Maniwa Corps. The episode itself was very good It was a bad idea to laugh about a house when you have its owner next to you. |

ALI project is always fine. Like zombies. They fit everywhere. Great episode, there was some good development and some great action that made up a bit for the previous' one. I just didn't like Shichika's speech very much: it was a bit too long to fit the character, it repeated itself a lot and (as noteDhero said) it was a bit anticlimatic by the end of it, although maybe "I love you" would have been a bit too much. In the end, nice one for finding out the source of the new arm. As always, looking forward to the next episode. You know, I pity a little those who will have all the episodes available and (maybe) will watch them in 1-3 days. I think that part of its charm (except the overwhelmingly stated numerology about 12) stays in the fact that we have to wait a month for the next episode. We have time to read the caracters, to understand them, like a dream that comes back once a month. I'm afraid that I might enjoy Katanagatari less if I watched it at a different pace. |
