| I want to watch a anime or read a manga were the main character is overpowered or becomes overpowered later on in the series. I would prefer if main character was a guy and have good fighting or interesting powers. Thanks for you help. EDIT: i dont really mind if main is a girl but i would prefer if it was a guy. Also it doesnt have to be super strong in the beginning as long as he/she becomes extremely strong later on in the series. |

| You've seen Chrome Shelled Regios, Asu no Yoichi!, why not try "Seiken no Blacksmith"? Probably not too overpowered, but the main guy is voiced by the same seiyuu and is a badass. |

| Try the following: Anime: Afro Samurai - man's got skillz Baccano! - depending on what you mean by overpowered, this one does have a few of the casts who...well I won't spoil it for you but I can say that one or 2 has mad fighting skills. This ain't shonen though(neither's Afro) so not sure if that's what your looking for. Black Blood Brothers - Vampire anime, main lead has mad skillz as well Blade of the Immortal - self titled Gun X Sword - elements of main lead being overpowered, anime is questionable though...you might like it Kurokami - becomes overpowered at the end, well the chick does Maze - old school mecha anime Photon - if you don't mind harem/comedy Ranma ½ - another old school where main lead has some skillz Saikano - chick is mega-overowered Samurai Deeper Kyo - main lead is notoriously overpowered Scryed - typical shonen where main lead becomes overpowered mid series Sword of the Stranger - no need for explanation, just watch it X/1999 - if you don't mind CLAMP anime Manga: Most have a main lead who either is already mega-powered or like your typical shonen, will gradually power up.
