Recommend good books here, or just talk about books in general.

Alright, here's some books I enjoyed:

Sword of Truth series, by Terry Goodkind
Artemis Fowl series, by Eoin Colfer
His Dark Materials trilogy, by Philip Pullman
Harry Potter series, by J.K. Rowling
Dan Brown novels
Anthem, by Ayn Rand
You Don't Know Me, by David Klass (This one's for younger readers, but I love it because it really inspired me when I was younger. I always loved how the main character keeps up a grim sense of humor throughout everything.)
The Blue Girl, by Charles de Lint
Dragonlance series, by Margaret Weis and Tracy Hickman

I read a LOT of books so here goes:
Percy Jackson and the Olympians by Rick Riordan (it's about Greek Gods. They had the movie for the first book in April)
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Colins? (It's REALLY good. It's after the apocalypse stuff)
The Fire Within Series by ?? (I forgot the author but it has dragons, witches, global warming, polar bears, etc.)
The Chronicals of Vladimer Tod (I'm getting it in like a week. The titles alone are awesome: 8th Grade Bites, 9th Grade Slays, 10th grade Bleeds, 11th Grade Burns and the last one 12th Grade Kills)

That's all I can think of right now

Basically anything by Edgar Allan Poe, H.P Lovecraft, and Stephen King is essential.
Also if you're into sci-fi try William Gibson's "Neuromancer"
I'm just some opinionated asshole on the internet
