According to Natalie, Weekly Shonen Jump joint issue 36 & 37 will carry "Rakko 11 Go", a manga within Bakuman manga. Rakko 11 Go is Hiramaru Kazuya's first work and has already gotten an anime adaptation in Bakuman world. The issue will be released on August 9th.

Heard about this. Is this a full series or just one chapter? Anyways, I'm gonna read this when it comes out. Asking for Crow, +Natural or PCP would be too much but I'm gonna be content that we get this manga :D.

Otter 11 always seemed like one of the more interesting titles within Bakuman.

That's pretty cool. I suppose they wouldn't really want to produce the major series' else it might seriously take away popularity from their bigger titles and force them to continue producing it with the risk of quickly running out of ideas within the manga :P

I'm quite excited by this actually. I've always wondered what type of manga that was.....now we might find out :)

And it's probably only gonna be one chapter i think.

They take care of their fans nicely.

Ohba's manga ideas are so different from one another and so unique it seems like s/he could make any of these manga work (I'm rooting for +Natural), so I'd jump at the chance to read his/her ideas even if they aren't personally writing the story.

That's pretty awesome that they could do that. I understand most of you don't like reading manga about manga but Bakuman is unique all in itself. It's boring sometimes but it's interesting most of the time.

This is funny because all of the manga within Bakuman are far more interesting than Bakuman itself. INB4 Rakko 11 Go gets an anime adaptation.

Old, but still funny :P

I highly doubt that this will be longer than a one-shot and that it'll be more interesting than Bakuman. They'll probably purposely make it not as cool or as interesting as Bakuman so that they won't lose any fans.

What I'm wondering is who will draw it.

People are confused. Rakko 11 aka Otters 11 gets an anime on BAKUMAN WORLD. There's no evidence yet that we could watch it as ANIME soon on OUR REAL WORLD.

Even though I kinda preferred to read PCP or +Natural/Crow.

This is fantastic! I always wondered what Hiramaru's Otter 11 was like since it got so much feedback in Bakuman.

ROFL I totally saw this coming, most of the manga featured within bakuman have such awsome stories I knew whether they be a tankobon only spin-off or another artist approaching the writers asking for permission to advance on a story that they would show up in their own mangas.
Here's hoping one of Ashirogi Mutos works gets adapted, out of all of the manga within Bakuman otters was actually the one I wouldnt have wanted, course its cuz im always thinkin 'wtf' whenever they talk about it, maybe the actual thing will be alot better than my expectations and make me think better of Hiramaru.

Yeah, I would've preferred to see Crow or +Natural, but Otters has got to be interesting enough.
And the idea of creating a manga that was a manga inside a manga (Wow.) is interesting as well.

I look forward to everything Moritaka and Akito have ever drawn and written! Tantei trap, Money and Intelligence, PCP... Well, dunno about Tanto though.
Colorfusical (the music manga at the beginning, remember?) could be interesting as well... it could be nice to laugh at. Oh, and I would definitely read Kawaguchi Tarou's Superhero Legend!!

To those who think that the manga in Bakuman are more interesting than Bakuman itself:
What's the point in writing a manga about people who want to draw manga if the manga they draw isn't interesting enough for boys to root for its success? No point at all, says I.

I guess everyone has different choices. But for me Otters 11 has the best story line among all the manga that are in Bakuman

Of course you can like some other manga best too, and root for someone else than Ashirogi Muto. As long as you hope someone will fail or succeed, you'll get into the story, I think. :>
Anyway, I was all smile when I read Otter 11 oneshot and hoped I could read just a bit more or know what kind of stories it really tells.

Oh, and I think that the oneshots are (mostly?) written and drawn by Obata & Ohba, since the art is so similar to the style used with Hiramaru in Bakuman and they were on hiatus for a week - just about the time to finish one chapter, isn't it. :}

Trap's not very recent though... I would've liked to have seen it too.
