No much was really revealed on this episode.

- The era is the Heian period, where the events are taking place.

- We see a young Reiga being hated by the other children in the village and being a called monster. Poor him, they throw him rocks. We also see a young Takashiro&Yomi.

- Takashiro, Reiga, Yomi and Ario were the four Saints and leading figures of the Giou Clan.

- One night, Reiga along with some other Duras burn the village and Reiga kills Yomi. We also see how Takashiro gets that scar on his face.

- Tsubaki & Ibuki are actually Yuki's aunts and they show him a picture of his mother, Mizuki.

- Yuki is gonna fight along them anyways.

At least Sodom remained as an animal in this episode and he was no annoying. And is it me, or Reiga kinda looks like Luka? His eyes are pretty much the same.
Otherwise, I was hoping more to be revealed, especially about Yomi. But on the next episode we will see the fight between Luka & Elegy, nice.~

It was great and all to see Takashiro's and Reiga's past, but I really want to see Yuki's and Luka's past.

Did anyone else notice at the end when the doctor said that Yuki was the master of the Zweilts? I thought that was pretty interesting.

I want to know so badly!!!

So I guess it means; she is from a royal lineage amongst the Giou clan?....or it could also mean she is the most powerful, then what is Takashiro?

The episode felt short....very less of Luka :(

Mizuki is beautiful.....its funny how everyone looks awesome in this show----> not that I mind.

How is the manga?...is it better than the anime????

I thought it was already said somewhere in the manga that Yuki is the Princess of the Giou Clan.
The manga is much more detailed and from what I've seen from the preview of 18, now the anime will rush. Because in the manga, Luka's fight is like 2-3 chapters ahead from the current events.

It's indeed interesting to know that Yuki is actually the "master" of the Zweilts.. but I don't think he'll act like one, doesn't fit in his -current- personality. Maybe beceause he is/was the master of the Zweilt's, Hotsuma didn't liked him when they first met? It was interesting to see Reiga's past but I'm so curious about Yuki's past! And about Luka ofcourse. Hope we'll get to see him more in the next ep -yeay, loved the previeuw, Luka's back in the episode! He's the best xd-

Btw, I'm really depressed they've new music, I really liked the previous one with the violins etc, at episode 14 -I believe- when Luka tells Yuki wants to forget cauz this time she's reborn as a man... and when Yuki tells Luka he doesn't want him to be by his side only beceause of an old contract and Luka said something like; if you're unhappy with it, break the contract... I lóve the music they use then, does somebody maybe know the name? xd

i expected more + does yuki now about luka now or not

Okay, cleared up some fuzzy details. I missed Luka too. I was really happy when Yuki wanted to see him.

I also felt it was a bit short so hopefully next episode will be fanflippintastic!

I'm happy that Yuki know the truth about his mother but I want him to remember his past with Luka and I see that I'm not the only one here who wants to this happen :P
I thought that in this episode he would remember that but there was no line about it;/
Can't wait to see what happen in the next ep. ^^

This episode was over very fast for me. It was great to see the past of Takashiro and Reiga.

How did they manage to explain everything to Yuki without explaining anything to us... Anyway, another pretty episode....

Oh Reiga was awesome. and honestly i dont think it was him who killed Yomi.

Obligatory: needs moar Luka.

God this episode explained nothing, just introduced more questions.

1. Why did Reiga supposedly have a hand in the deaths of all those people &Yomi? I say "supposedly" because nobody fucking took the time to ask him what happened that night, so we can't really know. (I will shit bricks if this centuries-old war began because Reiga got pissed off that Takashiro missed the day of the sakura blooming.)

2. Why did Yomi and everyone else seem to have it out for Reiga? There was talk about being afraid of his power, calling him a monster, etc., but from what we saw in this episode (aside from the fire scene where he cuts Takashiro) he has done absolutely nothing wrong or to deserve everyone's fear and suspicion.

3. Who is Ario? What happened to him? I'm gonna guess that he had more to do with the deaths of the Giou people and Yomi than anybody thinks.

4. Why would Yuki choose to fight? Nothing was really explained to him (unless he was told more than they showed us) and I don't really see how he is involved in this. Why is it his fight? Because he can heal? (This is probably the most rhetorical question here because I have a feeling the answer is "because that's the kind of person he is". Which isn't really an answer at all.)

5. And why is Yuki the master of the Zweilt? What has he done to deserve that? Need more explaining pls.

6. How did Takashiro take a Duras inside him? I'm assuming this occurred after he gets cut on the cheek, which is why that's the only thing that can't heal.

7. Who is male!Yuki's dad? I'm betting on Ario. Hopefully not Takashiro, that would be weird.

8. When will Toko die? She is annoying, useless and cries a lot. Diiiiiie.

9. How does Luka factor into all this? (I'm looking forward to this answer the most.)

But damn, Reiga sure looked good with long hair. X3 And has anyone else noticed that the guys in this show are more good looking than the girls? IMO the only really attractive girl so far is Yuki's mum.

I wonder who Yuki's father is....since she didn't give a name, it's prob a duras.

Great episode. Although that was a pretty interesting representation of the Heian Period xD xD xD

wow, you´re perfect at writing just all the questions i was wondering to myself after watching the episode! i agree with all, except number 8, looool.
Also, i have another questions too:
- Where is Ario´s reincarnation? why did he disappeared? to me that asshole wanted to prejudice Reiga, i bet.

- If Reiga reincarnated in Kanata, where the hell is Yomi´s reincarnation too?!

- Why the hell everyone gets super depressed and cant do nothing without Yuki around? its like they were Yuki´s slaves. Before Yuki appeared they lived well, now they seem they cant live without him, thats just a little bit too much =_=

- Did Mizuki really died?! how can they prove that, she disappeared, left Yuki on the orphanage and they never actually saw her again, so?!

- I doubt Yuki´s father is a Duras. If it was, Yuki would have a bit of "dark" powers like Reiga. He doesnt, so, probably his father could be .

And , hell, Reiga was so awesome, i ll believe in his innocence, i think he and Takashiro were trapped by someone, someone who wanted them to become enemies. If Reiga wanted to harm his best friends, he would have done it sooner. He was one of the four saints, he had the power to harm others, and defend himself, but he never did it, he even preferred to let the brats hurt him and didnt turn against them. Besides he clearly respected Takashiro and loved Yomi.

Im so in love with Kanata now;P He rocks!

oh, and about Yuki, he is clearly the leader, so, female Yuki was the leader too along Takashiro. That doesnt mean she was royal, it means she probably had a similar status like Yomi. "Sama" and "hime" are the suffix written for male and female leaders. Hime means princess although that doesnt mean the girl is one, its just a respectful way to call her.

Three episodes just to tell Yuki that Takashiro's not really his brother?! They're being a bit over dramatic, don't you think? I wish these episodes were spent learning Yuki & Luka's past instead. As it stands I don't think there will be time for the entire story at this rate.
It was nice to see Reiga though, I wonder why he went nuts? or was Takashiro lying again? What happened to Ario? Isn't that a bit inortant? Why do the Zweilts serve Yuki? Hopefully something will happen next episode, but I won't get jmy hopes up.
