At first I thought that the episode's name meant that Hiro and Noda are going to wait in the box to peek after girls, like in one of the earlier episodes, but once it was shown that it was Haruka I understood that Hiro with his casual self is going to forget about that. But the developing is even better than I had hoped. BTW, we see a girl with Momiji from Cross Game and Chika from Slow Step character design in the preview |

| The scene were Noda begs on his knees to go out with them was miserable, besides it seemed to me like it was out of Noda's character because he didn't look to me like the type who could confuse being aggressive with demeaning oneself, so I was a little surprised and I highly disliked it. But I was even more surprised, and glad, to find out that there is no such scene in the manga, |

| Hiro is real smooth, not only casually inviting Haruka to the dance but also Sagawa to join the club (even if it costed him 500 yen). Some real dedication of the team there, training in their free time to improve themselves. |

| A non-maid cafe in an anime school festival feels so bizarre but also refreshing to see. If this anime was made 10 years later this probably would've been a maid cafe for sure. Or not. Seems like Coach Koga has a connection with that Shiroyama coach. Maybe he played under him? Also, Sagawa will join Senkawa. Would've been cool to see him, if this anime didn't end in 4 episodes. We'll never get the fateful Hiro vs Hirota (or Hiro vs Hideo again) animated it seems and that makes me sad. Hiro made a big oopsie leaving Haruka out like that. Would've loved to see them dance. But I guess a date episode is fine too. This episode may be the first time Hiro seriously started being interested in Haruka and I'm all for it. If Hiro chases after Hikari now or vice versa then it will only lead them to hurt each other, I think. |
