| I'm glad those capes aren't coming back, fashion disaster people. Dark Precure is stronger than I thought even Sunshine nearly got destroyed by her. I'm glad her brother got the surgery and is recovering. |

| Lol, Tsubomi keeps blushing on Itsuki. And Cure Sunshine seems more powerful than Blossom&Marine, she was able to transfer the Tree to another location, she reflected Dark Precure's attack... But yeah, good episode. |

| I wanted to see a triple transformation sequence and maybe some sort of triple attack. Is there gonna be a new OP/ED or just change in animation ? Great episode, I liked the capes. |

| Cure Sunshine is definitely overpowered compared to Blossom and Marine. She deflected Dark Precure's forte wave, and owned her with her gold precure burst ;) Btw, seems Satsuki is already walking with them in next episode, what was his illness, exactly ? Ah, and speaking of next episode, new op and ed ? ^^ |

| So it's pretty much confirmed that Dark Precure is Ban-san's long lost sister. Cure Sunshine was awesome this episode too; glad to not see her doing that ridiculous spinning motion like the other 2. The capes were cool too and Tsubomi holding hands with Itsuki. Hnnnnnnnnnnnng. |

| one of the best episode in a while. I still think Itsuki's character design and her brother should have been switched around because both look like the opposite genders. On this episode though when Dark Precure showed up I was like ohhhhh shittttt! |

| I love episodes featuring Dark Precure, because she doesn't fuck around like Cobraja, Kumojacky or Sasorina. She's so OP that most of the time it's the Precure who need to be saved or to escape when they fight her, but I'm glad that the newly formed trio was able to hold their own against her this time around (even though they still ended up running away in the end haha). |

| Hot damn, what a fine episode! Truly a great midway point for the series! I like how strong and badass Sunshine is, she plays in a different league than the other Precures. She can even rival the seemingly overpowered Dark Precure and can do some crazy shields and teleport stuff! And whoever had the idea to have epic metal tunes playing whenever shit goes down in this cutesy magical girl series is a genius. These fights are intense! And I also like the music that plays when Sunshine uses her Golden Shower Burst or whatever. It's pretty epic. And that moment between Tsubomi and Itsuki, when they were flying... it turned from funny to heartwarming instantly! So freaking sweet. I heard that all Precure series get worse in their second halves. While that is certainly a shame, even if it gets "worse" I think this can still be a really, really solid and enjoyable show. I look forward to see more! |

| While I hope for a triple (or even a quadruple, later) transformation sequence, I doubt it'll happen, too complicated to animate. 2 girls spraying each other is good, but does it scale? |
| Cure Sunshine's Forte attack is just Macross missiles, but they're sunflowers. Also, a princely Precure isn't something I ever thought I needed. I feel personally attacked by all this. Thinking about it, I think Heartcatch Precure might be the closest to feeling like a 70s or 80s super sentai-esque magica girl anime. Magical girl shows have had super sentai-esque team-based setups for a long while, with Sailor Moon being the easiest to point to for popularizing the formula. However, there's something about Heartcatch's visuals, character designs, and conduct that feels more refined. I always enjoy shows that don't try for anything new, but instead tackles familiar stories with better polish. I really appreciate Heartcatch for taking magical girls, giving it a nostalgic spin, and presenting with such visual splendor. Lastly, Dark Precure is really cool. It reminds me of a dark fantasy antagonist pulled straight from the 90s. I don't think I'll ever get tired of her showing off her brute force. |
