| Great episode, I felt like it was far too long for a normal ep. Ophelia ended up being a cool bitch instead of emo bitch. Ilena surprised me on her side too - I mean, how could you expect someone to cut off his only arm to give it to someone else? I personally have never seen such a thing in anime so I honestly didn't see this coming. Also, Clare did pretty cool in this episode, and now she really has some considerable strength - I think I finally start to acknowledge and like her. Btw, it's already ep. 14 - I feel like nothing important on the present plot have happened to now but we're already past the 50% line and this is 1-season anime. I hope the real shit is gonna start soon. |

| See Ophelia was not that bad, everyone hated her in the last episodes. Irene was a boss. All the older Claymores were crazy strong. |
| Great episode, Clare got a new arm and managed to gain the fast sword ability! With Ophelia been released she managed to stand strong and defeat her with an epic battle! Lets see what's next! Monster Girl fans will love this episode! |

| Oh, god, it was so bad. Ilena says Clare needs composure to use the gimmick technique but just swapping out arms solves the problems. The overt "power-escalator" progression of having Clare defeat an even more powerful form of the woman who beat her so badly before her power-up. Ophelia being horrified at her own transformation was an interesting idea, but it just does super-obvious dialogue about it and her death was so mawkish. |

| lol for Ophelia not recognizing what she became. Clare is getting really strong in the last few episodes. I wonder if she can make it to the Top 5? I did not like Irene when we first met her, but I have to say she is warm hearted as Teresa in her own way. Sad she had to die that way. Really looking forward to the next ep. |

I actually felt a bit sad for Ophelia at the end. Wonder how many other bodyparts she will inherit. Maybe a new leg at some point. |

It's especially madening since the characterization of Ophelia as a complete homicidal maniac prior to ever unleashing any Yoki was never really expanded on and sure didn't make it easier for me to accept that she would have this kind of change of mind just because Clare resembled her brother. Not wanting to become an awakened being herself etc. was a much more in character reason for her to want to give up and let Clare finish her off. |
