The character designs seen nice to me.Much better than lame anime like Bakugan,i tried to watch an episode of this but they even't play,they make make poses moew time than the game itself.

I wonder when we gonna get a Purifying Fire anime.... Wanna see moe version of Chandra Nalaar.... The MTG PF manga looks ok in the Dengeki though....

I'm definitely going to watch this when it comes out -- if for no other reason than the fact that I don't have to worry about the story getting bogged down by X amounts of time the animators can show Miss Fanservice topple over and flash her panties in a suitable moe way.

This new season has managed to annoy me so much that I'm fairly tempted to give children's anime far more time than the rest, mostly since at least shows like this won't treat me like a half-lobotomized moron interested only in sex and vague otaku references at the drop of a hat. When you come down to it, most children's anime tends to be a good deal more earnest and full of heart than the moe-blob dreck I have to wade through these days.

I liked Yu-Gi-Oh! (card games are srsbiz) so I'll try this.

As a person who plays Yu-Gi-Oh! kinda of competitively and watches the series, I will give this a try but I have a feeling it will be like Duel Masters... An inferior version of YGO.

Yu-Gi-Oh! is actually a serious business, the company, "Konami" is making a lot of money off the card game still and YGO has evolved from a mindless card game to a strategic and complicated game, kinda like Magic the Gathering now.

Oh... Yu-Gi-Oh! recently set the Guinness record for most cards sold... It was like over 22 billion cards if I remember correctly.

The designs look alright, but I don't think it will beat Yugioh.
But seriously, they always make some cheap rip-off of YGO, Pokemon, etc.

YGO was the card game for me growing up. Duel masters and Bakugan (especially bakugan) weren't that great.

Anime card game franchise wise, YGO/Pokemon will never be defeated by this newgen stuff.

YGO - yes! Pokemon - no! That game (Pokemon) has seriously gone on longer that I expected to. I rather stick the pokemon handheld games.



I agree that YGO has grown and become more of a strategic game. Just like Digimon was the rival to Pokemon, Duel Masters was a (inferior) rival to YGO. I won't be having any high expectations for this new anime card game.

Kids have to many money nowadays ...

BTW, Duel Masters is a good card game. I'm not talking about the lame anime, but the game.
