Yeah, I didn't even recognize him until later. Great work there.

I don't understand all this love for Baccano honestly. I have seen tons of animes in my life and this one is just your average anime, nothing more. The animation/art is pretty bad, some characters highly annoy me (like this new Graham which is as disturbing as he is unnecessary for the show), some others are more to my taste, but overall I find the cast to be too big and not that great.

On the bright side, the script is pretty damn good despite being a huge mess (I know it's stylish but honestly the series would gain to be a little more "normal") and the music is perfect for the show. I'm always torn between the idea of a brilliant show and of a truly uninteresting and cheap one when I think about Baccano, so I never really know how to rate it, but for sure it doesn't deserve all those praises I believe.

In fact, before I became a MAL member, I didn't really follow the opinions and thoughts of fellow anime fans on forums, so I would never have imagined that this anime was known and loved (8.75, 18th best rated anime on MAL, I mean COME ON, it's only Baccano, not a great masterpiece...), as I always considered it to be a minor anime, not deserving to be watched by a large audience, and it was such a niche anime that no one would ever want to watch it (a niche among a niche, leaves room for a lot of dogs ;)). But I guess I understand that it appeals specifically to otakus, that may be why it works. Not for me unfortunately.

In every age, in every place, the deeds of men remain the same.

Graham's pretty crazy, but that's good, he's another member of the great cast now.

Graham is great, and Tomokazu Sugita has done a brilliant job.
'Amazing! I'm a genius!
Sorry, I just wanted to use the word "genius".'

Well I think he is... I mean, dismantling a car in mid air?
Ok a handsome psychotic genius..
Love and peace!!!!!!!!!

From the preveiw looks like Claire and Chane meet next episode!

lol poor Isaac and Miria. Firo stole the moment of truth ;P

Graham is an ok character so far. The episode built up nicely for what hopes to be a good action filled episode.

It was a fun and sad story at the same time. Baccano! has all the bases covered.

Awesome episode. I almost forgot how awesome Baccano was. The characters are great as always and... that wrench guy is pure awesomeness and his encounter with Ladd was EPIC. Hopefully the other two episodes will be subbed soon.

@Jacut:
If you don't like Baccano, why did you watch all of it and why are you starting to watch the OVA?
Then you say you think Baccano is average/bad, but you gave it a high rating (8/10). What's up with that? You're making no sense at all.

Based on his average I think it's easy to conclude that he finds it slightly above average but overrated. An opinion many in this thread would disagree with of course :P

Graham was damn awesome. Tomokazu Sugita did a real good job coming out of his normal sarcastic roles. It was great to see Isaac and Miria again too xD

To be honest, i didn't like this episode too much... It was enjoyable enough, but i found myself wondering when the episode was going to end, just waiting really << not good.
Hopefully it will get better after this.

Fuck yeah, awesome! Graham went right into my favorite charaters after this episode. I've been too long without Baccano now, so I loved seeing Isaac and Miria again too. <3

And yes, Tomokazu did a great job, made Graham even more awesome.

Ladd and Graham fight was awesome, Firo is still the cutest thing, Huey is a god of bishies, Rachel is back ( (((: ), and that Ennis/Chez hand-in-hand walk way just way too kawai. And the beginning with dominoes... just pure win.

Next episode Chane and Vino together... and probably Eve, too. Yay.

I really wish more novels were translated...

Oh wow. No. Baccano is really NOT an otakubait anime. Less so than most really.

Oh, Baccano! It has been far, FAR too long.

This series was my favorite of the year, without a doubt. The OVA only cements that in my mind.
