It's awesome but I think Yoshiwara Arc deserves a movie better. |

Absolutely loved the epic fight of Gintoki and Katsura vs the Amantos. Also, the end part was hilarious. LMAO 9/10 |

Bwuahaha War-san and Ner-san, hell with them XD Awesome movie, loved it, even though the lack of new scenes and no new OST was disappointing it was still great! *waits for movie 2* 9/10 |

Just watched it and I loved the little extra comedy-scenes xD Especially at the very end... Good old Gintama<3 Perfect when you want to rewatch the Benizakura arc in a "non-interrupted" version (Don't really know what else to call it :''P) ^^ |

Good remake. Couldn't beat the original though; I have to say that the pacing was something I didn't enjoy. I was remembering all the funny jokes that they skipped, especially the part where Gintoki didn't want Otae-san to read the jump :') It was well done though. So I enjoyed. I couldn't help but laugh at Takasugi though because of Baka Ojii :D 8/10 Tomoya said: Nagisa, I found it. I finally found it. Something only I can protect. The precious thing only I can protect. 9/10 for this movie. The new scenes ares nice, to those people that think its exactly the same can go to hell, and to those people who made a garbage review. |

I just rewatched this in english and it was pretty interesting. Chris Patton and Luci Christian are perfect choices for Gintoki and Kagura. But i cant say the same for most of the other cast members. Not sure if im just so used to hearing the Japanese voices or what but most of the other cast seems out of place especially Shinpachi. I liked how they changed some lines but there were some changes i didnt like. Overall the dub was decent and of course the sub will always be infinitely better. Id love to see this series dubbed mainly for Chris and Luci. it was great hearing my top favorite english VA's voice my top favorite characters. also it will be interesting to see how they handle some of the ridiculous scenes that take place during the tv series. Sentai said they might dub the series depending on the movie sales, so go buy this awesome movie if only to support the creators. Modified by Hokuto_no_Fuzz, 06-01-12, 10:34 AM ![]() |

While it was a good movie I feel slightly disappointed that they didn't do an original story...then again original stories usually suck when they make movies alongside long running anime. |

They mention the setting; Edo, aliens invasion, etc. You'll be able to understand without prior knowledge. Unfortunately, you probably won't catch some of the running gags. I'd still say you could enjoy the movie though. Hopefully anyways, lol. |
