Last online: 11-14-09, 3:22 AM 0 anime titles added 0 manga titles added Random character favorites, especially Tesuni and Balm from Sailor Moon, who are only monsters-of-the-week. There's no way in hell someone would ever honestly add them as favorites, other than to just randomly mess up MAL statuses, and never return to this site, unless s/he has another account(s). Give me ten men like Clouseau and I could destroy the world. |

Uh.. so my account is in this thread because my lists are private and I've disabled comments and haven't been online for months or what? Perhaps you should put in the site rules that doing so is wrong.... |

On a side note, http://myanimelist.net/profile/MisakiHelpPepole http://myanimelist.net/profile/Lumikko are basically inverted versions of this guy's lists: http://myanimelist.net/profile/Minimalistic Why do you assume all troll accounts rate the same as their parent account? It's not that uncommon for some folks to think that everything popular is crap, so they want their favorites OFF from the top lists... |

Trine said: Uh.. so my account is in this thread because my lists are private and I've disabled comments and haven't been online for months or what? Of course not, there are thousands of users who do that. These are only indications, but the thing is that your ratings were oddly similar to the ones this dummy account maker usually inputs. Although, as for your mention of http://myanimelist.net/profile/Minimalistic , I don't see your point in bringing up this user, which I never included in my posts. Either way, my sincere apologies if yours is not a troll account, it's no big deal, you've got nothing to worry about if that's the case. |

It was just an example of what you ought to be looking for also. Of course, taking into account such possibilities as complete or partial score reversal makes identifying the parent accounts nearly impossible though. |

Everything done. Trine said: Doing it on your own account is perfectly fine, making dozens of extra accounts in order to affect the overall score is not, which is what this thread is supposed to combat. Read the first post. Why do you assume all troll accounts rate the same as their parent account? It's not that uncommon for some folks to think that everything popular is crap, so they want their favorites OFF from the top lists... A bit off-topic, how the hell did you find this thread? You haven't logged on in months and suddenly you find yourself looking at this thread right after you've been flagged for suspicious activities? |

I figured it had to be that. Clearly there's a vigilante on the loose. Killed the blog spammers, btw. |
