THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE.

It's always nice to see Kanon caring for Ken but that guy should be more compassionate. Their interaction seem to be the only thing that interests me at the moment and other than that, it's all about the humor :D

Ken deserves some slack - he's only around 12 and his masculinity is being challenged because he can't transform into anything more macho than a mouse. (Think of the symbolism... <g>) Even the younger girls can change into more powerful animals.

I think that Ken and Kanon make a good couple because they are both unsure of themselves and need some mutual support. Riko, only the other hand, would be better matched with the cheetah guy because she could boss him around endlessly and he would accept it.

I do get a kick out of how Riko has now been twice called a "bakeneko" in her in-between form. I could see her becoming a "cougar" like Kanon's mom in the future... <LOL>
