So what did everyone think about this years AX?

Personally I thought the guest line up was great, but was VERY disappointed with the autograph sessions; what was the deal, some needed tickets and some didn't?! It would have also helped if they printed the autograph session times in the program but whatever. Nevertheless had fun and bought too much stuff, time to start saving for next year. Haha =)

I didn't realize how great the line up was till i actually got there. And I almost jumped off the 3 story balcony after i realized I missed the Seiyuus for Toradora was doing autographs on friday (I arrived on saturday).

Well at least I got an autograph from Kenji Kamiyama :)

i wasnt really happy with how they did pre registeration this year i had gotten there at 3pm and waited in line till 6 or 7 to get my badge.
Before they would do it inside the hall to get your badge instead of outside.

I didn't care for the summer festival it didnt seem to thrilling this year
the only thing i really looked forward to was the cosplayers and exhibit hall
things were not so much discounted this year but i did find everything i was looking for.

there was a couple rude attendee's though
heard alot of racism and people mocking other cosplayers who had some weight on them
and then there was the guy who had a badge and was preaching about jesus outside where all the cosplayers gathered to take photos.

the food wasn't to thrilling there the arcade was alright
the video rooms were ok
but the table top game room was disorganized
there were suppose to be tournaments there and really it just looked like chaos.

all in all i rather wait till they leave l.a. convention center to go back to the event.

some of the attendee's that cosplayed to had attitude problems i would be polite and ask people if i may take there photo and they give you a attitude or not even try to pose for the pic.

but then there were also kind cosplayers aswell and alot of detail went into there cosplay i mean they even stayed in character thats how it should be done.

all in all bunch of snobby rude self obsorbed people .
otakus are surely changing since i started going to conventions thats for sure.

I blame the Internet :P

Seriously though, I didn't run into any rude attendees. A bunch of disgruntled ones, but that's not unusual for staffers :P Then again, I wasn't going around the convention this year as much as before because I was working most of the time. Did run into Yui Horie, Megumi Nakajima, and May'n though.

Anyway, hope you still enjoyed yourself somewhat. AX may be at the LACC till 2013. Some of the changes this year were a bit of pain on both attendees and staff.

Yeah I agree about the rudeness, it seemed that some people were ruder this year, but at the same time, I did meet a lot of nice people too so whatever. I somewhat enjoyed the summer festival being that RSP and Morita were there, but aside from that, it was kinda out of the way from the exhibit hall and some of the other panels that were going on in the actual convention center.
