Oh my, just couldn't but make a new topic! Because just yesterday I sang this song at an Irish trad songs session here in Moscow. The song is "Johnny I Hardly Knew Ye", they are using Joan Baez-inspired version. It's crazy =) The song is amazing, btw. Listen to the words, it's worth it. Using this song as the ending is like telling that all wars are the same, be it Britain's colonial wars or US-Venezuela conflict. |

I thought the ED was a drum march song or something of the sort. It sounded familiar though. |

You guys also might want to check "When Johnny Comes Marching Home Again". It's a song from the American Civil War time. |

I wondered why Caran Casey sang "Johnny I hardly knew ya" using a slightly different melody. A bit misleading, sigh |
