I have been an anime fan for as long as I can remember. I have seen probably over 1000 animes.. (if I ever get the time to finish my list) and read over 1000 mangas. I just joined, so I thought I'd introduce myself. My name is... a mystery. =p Just call me by my username or whatever shortened version you'd like to come up with. I'm 19 years old, and live in California. I hope to get out soon. Haha. It hot, expensive, and overcrowded and I really don't see the appeal. Lol.

I've been watching anime, unknowingly, since I was seven years old when the first Pokemon episode aired and the first series I watched, knowing it was anime, was Fruits Basket and it is definately the reason I'm here on MAL today. Though it wasn't until three-ish years ago that I became an addict. I enjoy all anime genres, and have not come across one that I don't like. My favorite anime is Baccano! and my favorite manga is Full Metal Panic!... haha! Just realized they both end in exclamation marks! xD

I don't see myself ever stopping watching anime. I highly enjoy it, and I see no reason to stop, because I doubt I'll ever get bored considering how many series there are and will be in the future. One day, I'll show my kids anime and I hope they take to it like I have. =] Well... that's all for now.

I live in the USA, Florida to be exact, and I really don't like it all that much here ^^" Hot weather, humidity, brutal sun... the only good things really are the pools and the thunder stroms~! x3

I have been watching anime for... well, for as long as I can remember. I loved Dragonball and Sailor Moon as a kid, and later enjoyed Pokemon~ It was about 4 years ago when I actually discovered what anime and manga were though, and I've been a rabid otaku since ^^

I love all kinds of anime (though less shojo >>") and will give almost anything a try~ I don't ever see my addiction ending either. I love anime and manga, and I don't see why I should need to stop. It makes me happy~!^^

While browsing MAL i stumbled across this club, was deeply moved by the words on the intro page and decided, that i should definitely join- so thanks for approving =)
I dislike school/slice of life genre, albeit there are dozens of great things even there =)
My fav is Claymore and the best anime i've seen recently is Blassreiter. And of course i like BlackRockShooter, considering my interest in Vocaloids. Currently, Megurine Luka with her "Luka, Luka- Night Fever" is the one i adore.
Since i was aiming to join this club, i've sufred our admin's pages and now i'm really into Laura-sama's arts. especially of what she's doing for people here on MAL.

i've been watching anime since i was young (don't know, used to seeing anime so much i don't know when i started), and i don't plan to stop watching anime.

my current fave is one piece, and my favorite genres are fighting/adventure/comedy/sports, with Shonen as my favorite demographic.

I've been an anime fan for several years now, though like most at first I hardly new what anime was. The first anime I ever watched was Pokemon the Movie 2000, hehe. And a couple years later after that is when I really started watching fully aware of what it was.

My name is Rasmus, I'm from good old Denmark, the country of vikings, fairy tales (lol totally wrote "fairy tails" at first) and legally downloadable anime. I've been watching anime since i was young, though unbeknownst to me untill later. Then i began watching naruto, but when i ran out of episodes I just stopped watching anime. It wasn't untill last year that i begun watching anime again, where i started out with... Was it Deathnote?

Either way, my favourite genré is romance and comedy. Seitokai Yakuindomo, which I've resently seen for instance, is going on my favourite top 5 ;o)


EDIT: Oh, btw. I'm 18 years old (As of 11th september). ;o)

I think it's been 10 years since I started watching anime.
The first one were Doraemon, Kuro-chan, Sailormoon, Cardcaptor Sakura, Mojako, Sugar a little Snow Fairy, Daa! Daa! Daa! and I forgot the rest. DX

My relatives keeps on telling me that I'm too old for 'cartoons' as what they have known anime is. But srsly, cartoon and anime are different things. I work as a Call Center Agent while anime and manga serves as my stress relievers. It helps me forget the tiring working hours, pressures and all the negative effects you get from work.

My favorite genre would be Action, Comedy, Romance, Sci-fi, Shounen and Shoujo. And that's all I think? X3
