Only a handful of animes has made such a deep impression in me; in no particular order: Clannad AS (Best High School / Slice of Life / Adult Life Simulation) Kaiji (Best Game / Gambling / Psychological) Monster (Best Mystery / Thriller / Adventure) Aria: All 3 Adaptations (Best Episodic Slice of Life / Most Original) Nothing else in similar categories can match these titles.  |

From my favorite genre (slice of life) I would call these my favorite animes: K-ON! Yuru Yuri Azumanga Daioh Minami-ke Then there are some classics like: Neon Genesis Evangelion Saint Seiya Ranma 1/2 And some newer series like: Gunslinger Girl Haibane-Renmei Not to forget the films of: Ghibli Makoto Shinkai Satoshi Kon ... well, quite a lot! |

All time favorites: Dragon Ball Z, Yu Yu Hakusho, Inu Yasha and the rest: Seirei no Moribito Natsume Yuujinchou series Howl's Moving Castle The Cat Returns Baccano Denpa teki na Kanojo Eve no Jikan Hellsing Ultimate Trigun Jigoku Sensei Nube (only anime I watched without sub) *cries* Jungle wa Itsumo Hare nochi Guu Ok, that's enough I better stop right there.  |
