I dont understand... what happened to nick at the end O_O... he.. blasted off in a nick rocket?? O_O um. so his dreams came true (in an illogical sense) so what actually.. happened to him, cuz im totally not buying that fact he blasted off into space with his sister -.- or even the fact he became a little boy.... anybody have any theories to what happened to him O_O..

lol all the girls fall in love with hei. must be that mysterious darkness he emits that lures girls into his grasp.

and as for the mina girl.. as far as interpretations go. i'll never figure this one out. found love? or finished research? could be anything -_-

i actually think at first nick hid the meteor shard inside the telescope, which is how they saw stars when there weren't any (it allowed them to see what wasn't there which is what happens when you are in the gate) sicne they were looking through the lens. then corinna tried to steal it (no idea what happened to her though!) causing nick to hide it elsewhere (pretty sure nick killed her as shown by obeisance).

the only thing that is slightly frustrating is feeling a lot of things are unexplained like where did nick go.. does it mean he fulfilled his dream but really he just died? same with previous episodes like the one about perfume.. what is it for/what's with the petunias!

they need to show more of that other girl-*see's preview* ok you got me, but i wanna see her with Li so ha!

I didn't really get what happened, so I hope we'll get some better solid explanation of the Gate's works. It was surprising and yet interesting to find that Nick and Hei share their ability, combined with how Nick was seeing Hei as a person.
One of the less-good arcs out there. Still the piano theme in both the parts of this arc were really touching and good.

Can anyone clarify the significance of the reversed lettering Mina pointed out? The group of Pandora scientists were examining the footage where the expedition crew were being attacked; the footage briefly showed street signs that had its letters backwards in which Mina mentioned, but then that was it. I can't figure out why that happened.

Great episode, although I have so many questions.
I want more of the outside/near the gate stuff, it looks so awesome and so many strange things happen.
I think we'll never get an answer to these questions, the next arc is already starting.
I would've loved if this show had more than 2 episodes per arc, with more explanation and stuff.

Ah yes very interesting regarding the telescope, did not think of that.

Just when I felt that I was finally getting a grasp of the world of this anime, my theories are proven false again. Looking forward to watching more to understand what is going on.

But back to this episode, is the Indian doctor a contractor? And it's funny how Hei has all the girls hot for him even when he's in clumsy Clark Kent mode.

What the fuck was up with that rocket scene? Some weird shit right there, I dont get anything thats happening anymore.

It was a bit confusing, but I enjoyed it. Hei was cool like always.

man.... I was really confused near the end -_- I fell asleep last night near the end, but rewatching the last half doesnt help me.
so after reading through these four pages, NO ONE knows what really happened to nick? Since they say you can gain what you lost, do you think a rocket really materialized with his sister and he turned younger?
or was that a metaphor for him exploding himself with his power?

I know some may think this is a stupid question, but are they INSIDE the hells gate or not? it seems like they keep saying theyre in it, and then theyre not. I dont even understand what exactly the fucking hell's gate is. Im a very intelligent person, so maybe i just smoked too many bowls while watching this show, but it seems they havent specifically explained what exactly happened at hells gate that caused it. why cant they leave that facility for 30 days that theyre in in this episode and why'd they go there in the first place, not to mention what the fuck IS this facility that they're now in? wtf????? i like this anime but its really ambiguous. if anyone knows what happened to nick PLEASE enlighten me but if not atleast explain to me if theyre in hell's gate or not...

I guess when they said you can retrieve missing stuff only inside the gate happened with Nick he wanted to go out of space with his sister so that happened he turn younger cause they promised to each other when they where younger apparently or that is what i think at least. and what some one said about Hei having to do something with the starry sky because of his eyes is interesting it could explain why Nick said you believed in my dream right before he took of.

My thoughts exactly; the hell happened?!
