| The show was ok. I'm not expecting much out of the second season. 6/10 |
| 7/10 Max. Personally i think the manga is much more funnier than this. This anime have such a good cast but there quite a lot funny scene from manga they don't include. |
| While this wasn't my favorite offering from Shaft, nor my favorite comedy from them for that matter, it was a very solid show all around. It had a nice blend of comedy and romance (though I wish they had spent a little more time on the Rec-Nino relationship), a likeable cast of characters, and the usual Shaft flair in the animation. 7.5/10 (rounded up to an 8 for scoring purposes). |
| Hilarious last episode of this first season and I must say I really enjoyed this, by not only the hilarious moments but also was impressed by the great choice of voice actors and the actual pacing of each episode! All by all e very enjoyable anime and I'm definitely going to look forward watching the second season! |

| This show is honestly just mediocre. Not to say there aren't some humorous parts, as well as phenomenal Seiyu. However the characters are generally lacking, as is anything remotely resembling development. And in terms of pure comedy nearly any other comedy anime wrecks it to pieces. Only a fool thinks it can compete with the likes of Gintama/Sket Dance/School Rumble etc. Romance wise its borderline non existent (atleast this season), many anime without Romance as part of their genre do an outrageously better job, such as Stein's Gate, OreImo, Chihayafuru, even a random Shounen like Beelzebub has better romance going on. I'll give it a generous 7/10 since it had potential, but let me be clear this is no Gem. |

| Gave this anime an 8. Was really good. Hoping to learn more about Nino's past in the next season. Also hoping for more romance between Nino and Kou. |

| Omg this series was AMAZING one of my favs def unique story loved the art style/twists Characters were jsut amazing good variety of personalities CAn't wait to start season 2 if they dont wrap everthing up I might jsut have to read the manga ^-^ My thoughts on Kappa I'm prollly wrong but this thought crossed my mind He is actually the mayor or some kind of powerfull figure in the real world 10/10 had everything I was looking for at the time i watched it one fof those shows for me if felt like time stop then i was over and i was sad T-T |

I guess it's partly my own fault that I found this show to be somewhat underwhelming, because I was expecting something of a similar quality level as Bakemonogatari and this just didn't cut it. Anyway, I'll give it a 7/10, though I consider it to be somewhere between 6 and 7. |

| Overall a pretty good series. - enjoyable characters - decent humor - I like how the episodes are cut up into chapters, it keeps me interested without dragging too much - SHAFT effects aplenty Season 2 here I come. |

| lol what a final episode. Especially the first part with the Samurai Barber dude and Sister was just golden xD Overall a pretty enjoyable series with some likeable characters and good comedy. 8/10! |

| Episodes 12 and 13 felt like an anti climax in my opinion. For the first half of this show and especially in the beginning, I was thinking of giving this an 8 or 9. The humour clicked with me, I liked the touch of romance and the subtle metaphors were nice but in the end it fell to a 7/10. This episode in particular felt unnecessary. They could have just ended it at ep 12. The tail end of this just wasn't as good as the rest. On to season 2, hoping it can redeem itself. Nino and Maria are both great characters. |
| All in all decent show,but I wasn't really sold to the comedy,except for some moments. The tiny bit of romance is the reason why I'm giving this show a 6. Hope the next season will have more of it. |

| One of the best anime from this season! The anime is ridiculous but the cast feels like a family after a while. Pretty good! 8/10 for the anime. |

| This show really loves star wars doesn't it? There was some reference a couple of episodes ago about star wars episode 1 and now the 3D Theater scene. But I like the references anyway. |

| Aaaa... the ending was anti-climax... but I see, I think other things will be material for the second season. Even so, it was still a good ending. "That image will be forever burnt into our memories." I like how Riku said that because it's true, the moments that happen when we're children will become memories that we continue to remember (and cherish) until we grow up, and so Riku recalled his memories of playing merry-go-round with his father. That was really nice. |
