How to make a living?

Say I want to make enough to get by and sustain my lifestyle, how can a Hikikomori/NEET (or someone in a similar situation) do it?

...to the least minimum pay, but if possible at least a goal of $100/day or whatever, so that a middle class life can be sustained?

Hikikomori making $100/d -- yeah right.. maybe $100/wk.. settle for a room with a bathroom, cut your expenses and go as low tech as possible while maintaining your comfy little life. I pull it off spending about $500/mo which leaves me with leftovers that I do not overly spend in case next month owns some disaster.

As for what you require, it's simple.. 1 computer + Internet, electricity, water. Notice no phone, phones are expensive and if you're gonna stay in your room you don't need a mobile one. Get Skype. Goal at $100 extra per month, you can EASILY live on $25/wk if you're not an irresponsible otaku and spend your food money on anime and other products you love.

I am a web programmer.. I make 100% of my money from advertising and to be honest I am comfortable.. I am working on making more money however.. I wish to have a new PC soon.

Life is anime, manga, ramen, programming, doing everything to the minimum so you can fit in the maximum of everything you love.

How about I trade you, you help get me up to speed on making $500/month on the web from advertising/web programming, and when I get paid that, my first month check goes to help getting you a new PC ^_^

Just renting a room in my city may cost upwards of $400-500/month. The only way I can think of living on $25/wk is on the street with my tummy growling half the time XD

I need minimum of around a thousand per month to clear (pretty much right on the minimum pay line) ...cause of expenses I inherited. So what I can do is just focus on making more money... hikikomori or not.

Little update... still doing the same thing except I'm up to around 1,300/mo... I tell ya.. if you want your life to be isolated yet comfortable, you gotta put into it or you just can't reasonably sustain it. Good luck everyone.

suggestion to improve income,go do medical test each 2-3 month,2-3k $ each time,planning to do this starting 1st september

Those things seem pretty expensive to me, especially the soda. Not to mention unhealthy. Sugar content is the worst. I've been thinking about that one drink veggie, carbohydrates diet.

you can grab noodle bowl/kraft dinner box at 1$ each at grocery here :P,24 can pepsi can box are like 15$,2 noodle bowl a day=60$ per month xD
