And Black Lagoon is back in is usual fashion and as awesome as always !( /^ω^)/
Was totally surprised when I checked today's TV programme, and saw "BLACK LAGOON" written there. I somehow was under the impression that the episodes would be released on DVD/BD only and not broadcasted.

It's been a while since I read the chapters animated, but as far as I can remember, it was a very well done adaptation of the manga material. Also, the production values were great, with some super fluid action scenes.
And most of all, finally I got to see the animated Fabiola, being just as awesome and cute as I expected her to be. :3

Can't wait for the next episode, and for the climax of this arc already. ^^

got no idea at all.. the groups that has done the 2 other seasons has either quit subbing or said they aren't sure if they would sub this season..

I liked it when Revy started picking on maid pup in backseat.

Knife in the Nuts!

Fabiola Iglesias... a new star, on the South China Seas. Cute too, and way smart. A fun loving maid, who is apt with both a gun and a knife. Loyal, protective, adorable, and fierce...love her, already!
Now, the lone warrior/assassin maiden, Roberta-chan, is hell-bent and pissed. Who can blame her, after what happened? I am rooting for her despite not understanding a damn thing she said...for you see, I grew impatient and tired...why? I watched the first OVA, raw, because no one has gotten around to subbing this one, yet... ;(

MADhouse never ceases to amaze me,great episode thus far, despite me not understanding a damn thing there saying. :p

Damn, Anyone have found it with subs? And Nice opening, but i wont be watching it without subs :X.

Is the OVA a prequel for season 3?
Because that is how the newer chapters in the manga started, with the intro of Fabiola

The OVA is season 3.

If you think Fabiola's intro is "newer" chapters, you're not keeping up with the Black Lagoon manga. The "real" newer chapters introduce a hacker who used to work for the Chinese military.

the only reason i could come up with for why nobody has subbed this yet.. is that the DVD/Blu-ray release is the 17th of July...

if that is true we have to wait for atleast 2½ weeks : /

A couple of weeks ago I would have guessed this would be subbed in a matter of hours after its release given how anxiously and how long people have been waiting for it. I guess the speedsubbers are busy and the rest are waiting for the blu-ray.

Just watched the subbed version and it was freaking awesome. Is Roberta the kid in the beginning during the vietnam war?

Yeah, I just watched the sub too and it was quite good (the subs, the episide was awesome ^^).
Roberta seems to have gone a bit crazy though, and drug addict(?) ^^.
Lokking forward to more, though it'll probably take a while :/
