Quite a nice ending! I wasn't expecting this whole story line from this anime was quite nice! I mostly loved the second and fourth arc of this Anime in particular! In general I give this Anime a 8/10! Hope the Sequel be as interesting as this! |

That was a solid final episode and things wrapped up pretty nicely. Overall, I enjoyed this series quite a bit - it had unique visuals, engaging dialogue, and some good characters as well. My one disappointment was that I had hoped Araragi's history with the vampire would be explained but I guess that will be left to another series. |

Was a pretty awesome anime, but needed more Hitagi! She is definitely going on my favorites =D. ![]() "I like to expose what people hide. I'm an intellectual rapist." - Furudo Erika |

Lack of Hitagi in a few of the episodes kind of annoyed me, other than that i really enjoyed, it had a little bit of everything, now to move on to Nisemonogatari hehe. |

It kind of annoys me how every arc, except the snail, was essentially due to a love triangle. Two of them involving Hitagi and Araragi. Bakemonogatari is one of my fav animes over all, but really, more plot devices please? There is more thing that causes distress in life. And the only one of the love triangle distresses who was done in a somewhat creative way was Hitagi's, with her parents being the issue. OH WELL. So looking forward to Kizumonogatari, since the only arc that seems REALLY interesting is that one. |

Awesomness awesome! Prodigious. Marvellous. The whole episode, but especially talk with Neko-Hanekawa and moment when Shinobu saves Araragi. Just perfect. The whole show gets from me 9/10 It was a great pleasure to watch it. |

Finally finished! Overall great anime, most unique series that i've watched so far (in terms of animation). I think 8/10 is a reasonable score from me. Will check out the sequel later on. ![]() |

I will give this an 8 or a 7. Overrated, but still ok. I can't believe how people can treat this like a cult, it just consists of some basic arguments, thats all. I guess it is still too much for some people -_-. |

I didn't expect anything intellectual from that, are you really unable to comprehend the difference? O, then you should try to compare this with a shounen, you can feel much righter that way. What a waste. |

I gave it a 6 :S Sure it had some great cracking visuals. But it took me forever to finish, and for the most part I kept falling asleep during episodes. That doesn't strike me as good.. I liked it alrite. But that's about it. |

Not a bad ending, but not really the best episode either. Seeing Shinobu like that was great (not the band-aid thing though...). However, even if expected, seeing Oshino going away was very bad, he was probably my favorite character here :/ I really didn't like this anime all that much. It had some clever and funny dialogues, but it also had a lot of boring parts. The arcs and the oddities were okay, but nothing really good. The characters were mostly meh. I found Hanekawa annoying (though Black Hanekawa was actually nice), Senjougahara was just stupid. I mean really, she was outright crazy. She was probably my most hated character. Her being a bitch with Araragi and with pretty much everyone was annoying. Seriously, how could Araragi actually love somebody like that? (6k+ favorites? Really?) Araragi was mostly good, but also unreasonable at times. Shinobu (at least what we saw of her) was nice, she was interesting. And finally Oshino, my favorite here and the only one I was actually really interested in, was great. What I found one of the most annoying things about this show was the forced love. It was really shallow, I mean it seemed like they "loved" each other for no real reason. Araragi seemed like he only took advantage of a girl loving him. The whole thing was so sudden and unrealistic. It was like we were supposed to know and already expect them to get together. The whole thing went like this: "Hey let's go out because I suddenly love you. It's not like I wanted to actually kill you and claw out your eyeball 2 seconds ago" "Sure, I now feel like I love everything about how bitchy you behave with me and have no care for me as a human being." I felt like I was watching twilight... No, that's probably a bit too much, but it felt almost as bad. Btw, the fanservice was a bit too much at times, but I was mostly okay with it. Another problem. I don't care how artistic or whatever it is, but don't fucking expect me to keep my hand above the pause button to stop the anime every 5 seconds because I can't read the text that actually seems relevant most of the time. The black/red screens were also very annoying. Btw, I liked the art style, but the close-up shots and the real photos or whatever were pretty annoying and disturbing. Overall, the series was enjoyable in a way, but also pretty boring a lot of the time. The real savior here was the funny dialogues and some of the character interactions. Thus, I'm gonna give this a 6/10, but I might lower it later if I feel like it. I probably won't rewatch it. I'm not interested in the prequel (Neko) since I don't like Hanekawa, but I think I'm gonna watch Nisemonogatari, for sole the reason that I'm actually interested in Araragi's sisters and in Shinobu (seeing that she is supposed to a main there) and also because I heard that Senjougahara only plays a minor role. Who knows, maybe I'm gonna like that more (even with the bigger amount of fanservice, including the 'infamous one'). Modified by RazielZero, 03-18-13, 11:04 AM |

Finally finished it! Anyone noticed there's never more than 3 characters in a scene together the entire show? Except at the very end. |

Hmm well overall an awesome series! just wished they would've given Hitagi more screen time.. 9/10 “If you always put limit on everything you do, physical or anything else. Who knows, maybe I'm gonna like that more (even with the bigger amount of fanservice, including the 'infamous one'). i've actually agreed with nearly every one of your posts about the episodes and i agree with this post as well. this anime was okay. but that's it. - i liked araragi and oshino since the beginning, and shinobu and suruga started to turn into likeable characters at the end. senjougahara was... well, actually i still don't know what to think about her. i like self-confident women, but until the end she was still too mysterious. don't get me wrong - being mysterious is awesome, but until the very end i couldn't figure her out. it still seems like araragi and she just had a relationship because they somehow ended up together, but not because they loved each other. - the animation was very unique, but that doesn't mean it's good. sometimes it felt like they were just using "too much". like too many colors, too much text, too many cuts. 6/10 for the whole show. i guess this was another one of these shows where i just had too high expectations. |

Wow, Shinobu can really kick some ass! And I am glad that Araragi kun stick with Senjougahara until the end. Good ending :) "Tears are handy for washing away troubling and sad feelings.
