| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- 12-13. Two episodes that are darker in tone than usual and they were good and intense. Now, what I want to know is what happened to Feye and how does she now vincent. Anyway, it's great how does this whole thing seem to be connected somehow. |

| Agreed, it was a beautiful and subtle ending - to me this arc sums up what Cowboy Bebop as a series is capable of. I loved the "Do you have a comrade?" at the end of the song. A very moving episode. |

| beautiful episode,maybe my favorite till now...very touching&incredibly well directed i loved the ED song so much btw i want to give this more,but i can only give it 5/5 :) PS:the 8 persons that didn't give this a 5 must have some very high standards lol |

| Very nice conclusion, and beautiful ending. Loved how it came full circle. Easily 5/5, this and ep. 12 are my two favorites at the moment. |

| They way the story is told, without actual telling us much, is just so captivating. This is the episode that proves Vicious isn't one-dimensional. He is a very complex character that stopped believing in anything and fell from grace. I'm not sure about the war and the time Vicious met Gren, but I guess it happened between the time Vicious and Spike were comrades in Red-Dragon and the present. There was also this great companionship between the two, even brother-ship, where the two looked up to each-other. Then there is this common link that is Julia (that is still shrouded in mystery in this point). Anyway, at some point Spike wanted out, the last "job" went wrong, and looking at it this way it's as if Spike was the one who betrayed Red-Dragon and Vicious. The ending was simply phenomenal. The group had its quarrels, but they know better that their differences aren't reason enough to abandon what they accomplished so far. They are important to each-other at this point. | Phenomenal storytelling here. It never ceases to amaze me how this series is able to take these one-shot characters and make them memorable. In the case of Gren I actually felt sad for him. | I KNEW Cowboy Bebop would make this two-parter truly spectacular! Ridiculously deep histories are given to brand new characters that all link to the protagonists in really meaningful ways; the two-parter can stand up on it's own, yet adds more to the overall storyline by hinting to a dark past that Spike is hiding; the tension slowly mounts until it reaches a standoff that results in an all-out dogfight sequence, which is tightly directed and exciting throughout; and it all ends on an extremely emotional note that links back to the seemingly out-of-place opening of the first episode. And the power of this two-parter is only ever increased when a beautiful new song introduces the credits, and when a question that directly quotes the episode ends it. 9.5/10 |

| Great episode some more back story on spike and this Julia person I do wonder if he'll ever find her! Lets hope that the writers put another arc for her in the anime somewhere! This 2 parted episode was quite lovely with story development! We're also now in 50% of the Anime so lets see what the second half has to offer! |

| Best episode so far, the way the past is slowly revealed, how the characters' stories wrap up with each other, and that ending was just beautiful, the scene with the Bull talking about the star was amazing now that it made sense. |
