There was definitely a lot of cuteness expected, however, I didn't like how it started out and instantly Yurie said that she became a God. It kinda happened too fast x.x |

| As a self-proclaimed slice-of-life connoisseur, I thought it was as perfect as an introductory episode can be. Introduced the main cast, showcased lovingly detailed scenery, supported by gentle and laid-back music, and a hint of Yurie's god abilities. It's so charming, and revels in its simplicity. It reminds us to never lose that child-like wonder with the world. |

| I'm impressed with the quality of this anime. It's near movie quality. The backgrounds are beautiful, and the animation quality is very detailed. |

| Wow that was pretty fantastic. Felt like I was watching a movie, and it's only the first episode. Hopefully the quality is consistent throughout the series, I have high hopes for this one. |

| First episode was great, things picked up fast. The scene at the end where she is floating down from the sky with him, so cute. The animation for this is also really fluid and great looking, it looks like it could pass as a show for the current season, but it came out in 2005. Beginning was very charming, I'm hoping the rest doesn't disappoint. |
| This came out in 2005? God damn, the animation is fantastic. It was a bit jarring how she said she was a god at the very beginning and we, at least so far, haven't found out how this happened. But, I couldn't help but find this first episode charming all the same. |

| Shoujo, Slice of life, two of my favorite genres. Added with mystery and sci-fi makes it even better! I like the episode so far, the main girl is sort of weird, but likeable. You can't even tell it's from the 80's, but maybe it will become clear in the next episodes. lol at the last scene where Yurie said, "Don't depend on me so easily!", " A god can have it tough too!".. well it was funny how she ran up and said it. anyways looking forward the rest of the season. |

| The first 30 seconds, wherein Yurie nonchalantly states she's a god, killed me. Around eight minutes in I suddenly realized that I loved the music and art/animation: especially for the hair and backgrounds. Amazing. |

| probably one of the finest 1st episodes I have seen in anime, ost is on point, characters are quite interesting, shrine maiden giving me rika furude vibes for some reason. really liked this. |

| I definitely wasn't expecting her to actually have powers. I thought this was going to be a series about a delusional teenage girl and the shenanigans she gets into but turns out this about an actual god and the shenanigans she gets into. Which is fine because this series is kind of irritating me with the way characters talk and act. They talk so fucking slowly and move like they've hitting the sake early in the morning. It's annoying to me because slice-of-life shows that do this, usually do it to pad out the runtime because they don't have anything interesting to show. |
| Well, it's been 1.5 years. Here again, trying to finish this once and for all and my opinion has not changed. Great OST. Good character interaction. Hitsuboshi is a sweetheart too. But yes, she really is God. It's crazy. What a way to open up the story too lol. Good good episode. |
| I love how in these old anime you can feel the love and care put into art and animation. Quite a lot of stuff happened in this single episode lol. Looks like our MC is an airbander xD |
