It's been a while since I've been sad when an anime finished. Though the last episode was kind of meh. The best part was Izaya getting punched.

Bleh ending to a good show . Wow , how many times has that happened before

Great ending to an awesome series! Really hope that they animate the rest of the novels since this series was really well done. I'd give it a 9/10 overall.

Though I don't know why Izaya was threatening to shoot random people when it stated the gun didn't have any bullets O_o

The only one thing that I've been srsly expecting didn't happen :/ Some sort of Anri x Mikado development >< Fuk, Im disappointed.

Durarara was a huge disappointment for me as well. The first half was very energetic, creative, and promised a lot of interesting stuff with Izaya. The second half was linear and quite boring centering on Anri, Kida, and Mikaido and their angst, when they could just simply talk to each other. Plus Izaya really just disappeared and he didn't turn out to be anything special. Nothing cool with Celty's head or anything like that. Bleh at the happy-go-lucky ending. x__x;;

7/10...which breaks my heart.

Well, it ended after all. I'm really gonna miss the series and I think this episode was a nice way to end it, leaving some questions to forecast a promiscuous sequel however I don't really think it'll happen~ Still I enjoyed every second of it, the OST, the characters, the storytelling so I'm not hesitating to give this a 10/10.

Didn't feel satisfied by the ending. Though at the same time I do feel happy. This was an amazing show from start to finish. True I still think the second half was not as good as the first half but damn it I enjoyed this show till the end. 9/10 from me for overall enjoyment even if I didn't feel 100% satisfied with the ending. I laughed a lot though this final episode and I loved it!

The news about the bonus 25 is so sad because 2011 is soooooooo far away to me at the moment. Though the novels are still going and I still have hope that plus this epilogue episode 25 will hint at a second season and a continuation of the story.

Though this really did feel like an ending episode still I have hope! <3

Second season is needed!

As much as I would've liked to see it, I honestly didn't expect much Anri x Mikado development, due to Anri still not convinced that she could love without Saika, and Mikado still not having much of spine in that field.

While it was nice that they brought Kinnosuke and his traffic cop army back, it kinda bothered me how that was pretty much his only appearance outside of his introduction. But, hey, he could've been Kasuka (I'm pretty sure his only appearance was before they put him in the OP).

Speaking of Kinnosuke, WTF was with Horada's character model during the whole car chase scene? I understand that probably nobody would be able to keep their cool having the Black Biker and Shizuo Heiwajima after them, and that Horada was a Gonk to begin with, but seriously, the guy's face was all over the place during that scene. I guess it works just to reiterate how much of a worthless douche the guy is (like we needed to be reminded).

Nice seeing Saki and Kida working things out. I like the two of them together.

Izaya's "Shizuo Complex": good lord, I could hear they yaoi fangirls screaming from miles away.

Overall though, I'd rate the series in the high eights or low nines. A lot of fun, but some pacing issues. Here's hoping for the second season. It would be nice to see the explanations for some of the art for this series I've seen on Danbooru.

Bleh to people who don't like happy-go-lucky endings.

-Yes Shizuo. Stand in the street and tear a car in half like a badass and then hit them directly in the car. Why can't you be in the show more?

-Look, I may be weird but the body is right so Celty in a hot outfit=win.

-Well outside of no real conclustion to RyuuXAnri and Simon punching Shizuo in the face (hell yeah!), the ending went pretty much the way I expected it to. And that's fine. DRRR! was a great fun series that was the constant apex of my Saturday afternoon every week. I liked just about every character and had a great time. It's amazing how Brain's Base is able to create such quality shows. They're like the Pixar of anime. You see their name and you're like "Yeah! I'm getting quality work!" I will truly miss Durarara and I hope it comes back.

-Given the way certain plot threads weren't finished, hints of the next arc were dropped, stellar DVD and book sales and my own personal psychic powers, I think we'll be in for a season 2. But adapt Vamp! at some point Brains Base.

EDIT: Great ending to what was a decent series overall. Baccano! is still Brains Base's best series but Durarara!! is up there. The ending seemed to be left open so there may be a second season.

That was brilliant.

I liked the ending. It was happy.
But it could've been better. They could've solved celty's head problem too. Plot's left there. Then Shinra's dad doesn't appear again. And again, too less shizuo. Oh well, it was a fitting ending for the arc they'd animated.

I'm so happy for the trio, especially Kida.
TOO LESS SHIZUO but he was amazing as always. HAHA, the whole frikkin sign post. xD
Yes! For that punch Simon <3 threw on Izaya! Well, too bad he wasn't hospitalized but anything's better than nothing.

I don't mind happy-go-lucky endings..but Dura's in particular just didn't sit well with me. A season 2 would be good though to see the potential I thought I was getting here~

A good episode but in comparison to the rest of the season it was lackluster. The show started out incredible and has slowly been losing my attention over the past weeks, this might be my least favorite show that I give a 10 but i dont think a 9 would do justice to how much I was enjoying this series.

This needs a 2nd season.

Damn this was awesome, I'm gonna miss this series. Loved it when Kida punched that Horadora bastard in the face. Yellow Scarves just got owned by the yellow scarves. Shizuo impresses me yet again. Dammit I was hoping that Anri would cut that bastard Izaya.

Thank the heavens for Simon giving Izaya his just deserts! Ah, I love happy endings. This series gets a 9/10!
