| about the hinatachan tag at the bottom. There are a couple of options for night mal/etc. You could always have the "sig by hinata.taigaforums.com" appear twice. Once in black (or w/e shade night MAL is) and once in white. so like:  or this:  (or w/e shade it is, can be fixed for actual official use.. though I accidentally cut off the bottom on this one) (min length on this one is 270.. if the user wants smaller they can stick with the white strip at the bottom) And depending on what the user wants they can swap what side the white and black are on.. or turn off the transparent bg and just have the same white strip at the bottom with a black hinata.taigaforums.com.... They could also use a few select fonts (the size would already be picked so that people couldn't make it look bad). Or you could always offer a few select colours that are visable on night/dark MAL and normal MAL. There is also the option of users submitting/requesting the placement of the hinatachan link in a more integrated but visible way. I wouldn't mind modding that/approving things. Though all of this takes coding and such (at least this isn't xinil's project) so it all depends on what you guys want. |

it makes much more sense to just use a glow: with black bg:  ...and I don't want to hear that you can't do that in perl, because you should be copying the pre-made image onto it anyway, not rendering the text every time. as sy suggested, there are ways to watermark it or otherwise put it onto the actual sig in a visible way without intruding on the signature itself. If you put a translucent version of it with a thick bevel (so it has both white and black) then there is no way to hide it, though it might become slightly difficult to read on noisy sigs. I think just extending it as you're doing is probably the best solution. |

Also I think glow is extremely ugly. But putting it in black and then white isn't perfect either. Maybe you could give people an option. Options are good. Okay, that makes sense. I just figured a better font would be more readable (though I need glasses) and would advertise better. | currently updating the tag, so excuse any ugliness. tag is updated! if it looks goofy to you, refresh a few times and it should fully update. i also added a donate button to the hinatachan page so that if one donates (a reasonable amount), the tag can be removed. |

| in the rss feed that mal provides, manga are watched.... so unless there is logic to replace all the statuses, then they will stay that way. I replaced them in my custom scripts. |
