hinatachan is an automatic sig making program that utilizes perl. my brother protoman96 wrote the backend part of it, and i did the styling part of it. it's pretty self-explanatory: you just put in the boxes what you want and the output is shown in the top right-hand corner. if you sign up for the awesome taigaforum.com, you can get the taigaforum.com tag removed from the signature. please post here if something is confusing or doesn't appear to be working. also, if there's a font you'd like to use, link me up and it can be added. (except comic sans. we don't support the use of comic sans.) enjoy! **THIS POST IS DEDICATED TO ZOIQ and Gunther.** --------------------------- most popular sigs as of may 19, 2013: 2686 views 2284 views 2080 views 1519 views 1095 views 954 views 809 views 765 views 671 views 554 views 546 views 521 views 500 views 492 views 481 views 378 views 330 views 322 views 275 views 274 views Modified by windy, 05-19-13, 3:24 PM |

AlexSadist-sama said: pretty sure what the problem is is that you're trying to paste your sig image into the box for editing a previous hinatachan sig. you upload your original background image in the box below that.ESSWHY said: So I made a sig, and it gave me (I changed the sig after that, tried again) I keep getting something like that as well. |

not how i would have done it, but another sig generator doesn't hurt. as for the angle positioning, it's caused because you are not calculating the offset properly. If whatever perl library you're using for the bounding box and text behaves like GD's imagettfbbox in php, then you can do it the same way I did so that it always aligns the text baseline to a point: It's kind of confusing that I call them $w and $h, since they are not technically the width nor height. It should work well though as long as your offset calculations are like this... $xoffset = $lowerrightcornerx - $lowerleftcornerx; $yoffset = $lowerrightcornery - $lowerlefttcornery; Here's the test script I used and its output, just convert to the perl equivalent: http://codepad.org/yJEUDXhi Modified by saka, 06-24-10, 9:15 AM |

@ saka - actually, the underlying api expected radians rather than degrees. so the angle problem is now fixed. :) |

shortybostic said: i need a website that will give me great quality pictures and small enough for it The background for pretty much every sig here came from a larger source image. You will not find a website that has them "small enough for it". That said, http://danbooru.donmai.us and http://konachan.com are likely where you'll find "great quality pictures". However, if you can't even figure out how to crop and resize an image then you are unfortunately shit out of luck. |
