| Festivals!!! \o/ Now that's the true spirit of summer and actually my reason for posting late as well xD Been cruising trough a few of the early summer metal festivals and enjoyed a great deal of awesome live performances. A few things of note about this episode though, poncho's are NOT festival at all and only novices plus boring 'dry' people use them, secondly they forgot the mention one of the absolutely most necessary things during summer and festivals in special.. Alcohol! xD Even Sawako stayed sober throughout the whole thing =O Or perhaps she actually did enjoy a few cold ones and that was the cause of her early retirement ;P |

And the girls are too young to drink alcohol. |

Yeah, they could at least do a reference to alcohol or drugs... But since K-ON! started, it focused only on the fun and "fwa fwa" part of music: in the end, it's japanese light music. So, I wasn't much disappointed from the absence of those substances. :3 |
| Nice episode but i was hoping than in some way they will get to perform. Not on a big stage but at least at those really small ones like the one singing all night. Those guys are probably amateurs anyway since the pros are only on the big stages. Azu and Mio were really good in this one. |
| Really great episode, one of the best in the show. K-ON at it best. Second season is really enjoyable compared to the first. |

| Well this was a nice change of pace, it was fun to see the girls in a new environment . Everything was on par as always; excellent animation, endearing jokes (though maybe not as original as in the past episodes, still solid) and lots of moe as always. But what I thought stood out the most this time is the friendship motive. I've noticed how the not-so-common pairings took place here (e.g. Yui & Azusa), rather than the usual (e.g. Ritsu & Yui). Could be just me. Also, now I know about another japanese delicacy (takoyaki). Overall, this was refreshing and fun to watch. |

| Great Episode, having the girls go to a rock show was way overdue too. I particularly liked Sawa chan's superfan enthusiasm (kinda reminded me of konata actually). I already said it but I also rly liked the music festival setting, and like Jiyuudansei mentioned it was cool to see how everyone paired up (I don't think ritsu and mio's old friendship gets enough mentioning anymore). Of course seeing Mio get all inspired by Sawa chan was adorable, and then being totally overwhelmed when she actually got there was just like her. I think that's most of the big stuff. so yeah, once again, that was a rly solid Episode. |

| Well after the last episode this one was Heaven for sure! hehehehe... Starting with the girls assemblimg for another training camp and ending up with Sawa-chan on toll on the way for the magnificent Natsu Fest!!! xD I wasn't really expecting this! I really thought they were going to have their classic Training Camp and yet they had a training... A Music Training!!! And not just hearing the bands but going to a live rock fest which by the way looks like RSRF (Rising Sun Rock Fest) alot! And so there's two major stages and some others that are smaller scattered around in a big area!! And lots to cover too! Poor Mio wanting to cover a pair of bands at the same time XD LOL at Sawako hungover at the begnning and then headbanging the next scene that was pretty lol... So it's a two days permanen gig huh? That's awesome... I wanna go to a similar one! But what surprised me more on this episode was Mugi's retardness that in the end she ends up doing that out of cuteness-y and Yui being more mature... acting more mature yet being the ditz she is.... Like in the river scene... so... Yui really has matured... if not the she wouldn't have suggested the training camp in the first place... and then she wouldn't have taken all this stuff seriously.... the performances... and the food... BTW poor Mugi and Yui being not able what they wanted to eat :c... but especially the stary sky scene... That scene was so cute.. and in the end Yui is right... if they're seriously taking this they should aim for NAtsu Rock Fest and Budokan! xD Signs, Green |
