| I wonder if the 'Programer' is really Takamatsu (Glasses boy). I suspected that it might have been him before, but now I'm more convinced because we know that the 'Programer' turned himself into an NPC, and Takamatsu got turned into an NPC. That would be better then someone we've never met before being the 'Programer'. I hope they tell us who it is. I guess next episode everyone's going to disappear. That's sad. I liked this show, weird as it was. |

| I'm amazed at the weakness of the script, the absolute lack of credible development there and cheesiness abuse. | This episode's pretty good. Well, there goes GirlsDeMo and the unnamed cast. It seems like everybody knew their reasons for being there, so I guess that's that. I simply loved the action sequence at the start. That was badass. Finally, Shiina's finally being useful as a full-fledged ninja. Yuri's side of the tale was pretty trippy. It seriously took my elder brother's explanation to understand that classroom scene. Seems like Akira Ishida played a one-shot villain. And not too much of one either. I'm guessing it's not Key's style to have truly antagonistic characters. I have to agree though... the computer lab conversation was a total mind screw. But I'm not complaining. It's been a while since a show's played with my head. On that thought, Maeda's playing with us anyway. Wow. That scene with Yuri and her sisters really made me want to cry badly too. If only my older brother wasn't watching with me. I seriously need to re-watch this series alone. Though she didn't disappear? Whoa, didn't see that coming. This show is whack. And that's good. I really like this show. I hope the next episode will be something really nice and touching/heartwarming and tearjerking. Suspension of Disbelief is really need to enjoy this show. Haha |

| Random exposition that only makes the viewer tune out ala the Architect in Matrix. This has to be the most half-assed show I've seen in a long time. Did the writer truly think he was making a comedy? Next to Clannad~AS~ this is the least comedic thing I've seen from Key. I'm in awe of the nonsense in this show. Just in awe. I can't really even put together a thought beyond this. Shitty episode. Just shitty. Dropped down to a 3 out of 10. |

| Disappointing start. Really. That's the only thing I hate Angel Beats for. They don't give us time to realize what happens. They should have given us a small moment of time to understand each vanishing Character's point of view, some last words. Something that you can feel for without pausing the episode. LOL! @ Matsushita! TK's Knockin' on Heavens Door <3 The Episode was good, but again, rushed. it's like every important event is just... 30seconds long <.< |

Everything so far has been pretty transparent, as far as plot goes. Or should we do to shows as we usually do to books, watch once, try to get as much as the bare minimal, then move on. Actually, I agree with you that it is pretty transparent. I just don't think that watching twice would improve my opinion of it. I doubt that hidden depth would be revealed with closer inspection. ....I'm not saying I haven't been enjoying the show. I would have dropped it if I didn't like it. However, I would rather spend my time watching or reading something new than rewatching something that was pretty mediocre. It's an interesting show, but not that interesting. Yes, this is just my opinion. And yes, it is my personal preference :) |

| So, second to last episode, huh? Shadow fighting again, welcome back to you awesome characters! Yuri is saved from becoming an NPC ... that speech was pretty ... passionate? I suppose. Her talking with that random guy in the computer room ... was amazing. I definitely like that guy. Her line about "humans not waiting 10 minutes" was pretty epic as well. LOL @ crazy laugh. I was like ... uh ... okay. Mixed feelings so far, I have mostly liked this anime but have a feeling it could have been way better. Let's see what the next episode is ... EDIT: Forgot to say ... TK was AWESOME XD |
| This show could have been so much better if given the screen time, but well no turning back anymore. For the screen time they had it turned out pretty good. I can't really see any big surprises left for the last episode. I am stuck with mix feelings about this episode, the screen time Yuri has gotten was good. I would love know to know more about the guy inventing Angel Player, but I am afraid that won't be happening unless there's a twist in the last episode. |

This episode was lol, made Yurippe become a real lovely girl by calling Tachibana by her first name, Kanade-chan!?! Was this only some kind of fanservice anime?? Like making advertisements of GirlsDeMo....? Whatever, the episode was not epic but was above average and I dig this. There are surely holes in this anime, I thought the last episodes were going to bring the miracle I actually would call miracle but seems like there are nothing such as miracle. The great miracles by Maeda are definitely not in this anime, but what ever, in terms of enjoyment, I enjoy this anime way more than the other airing ones =) "It's called a "miracle" because it doesn't happens." |
| I'll say it again: this show didn't need more time. It needed a competent writer. Looking at what this show was really about, almost the entire first half was full of nothing. 12 episodes was more than enough for this more metaphysical, Matrix-and-Haruhi-inspired show. 24 episodes, and we would have seen the show adding 2 more factions to have a large-scale war, 15-20 more useless characters (all of whom are nearly indistinguishable from the ones we already have), a recap episode, and a culture festival episode. Is that really necessary? I don't think so. |

Too many ideas and too many directions for those ideas for so little space. |
