I've been wondering about this for a while..

Do you guys 'self-proclaimed Kugimi fans' love her only because of her voice as loud loli-tsundere (Louise, Shana, Nagi, etc)?

..or as a proficient seiyuu who is also versatile in doing young boys (Al, Miharu) or monotone dandere (Hotaru, Shirayuki) as well?

Please answer honestly, thx~

I became a fan because of her loli voice. It's what things are most focused on, so I'm not going to feel bad about it. She's doing a good job as Miharu too - but I didn't really like her as Shirayuki, maybe because the whole anime sucked.

She's still in my top 5, so I think it's okay for me to be in this club. :D

I'm not saying that fans that only love her loli voice is bad.. ^^; I'm just curious how much the percentage of them compared to all-round fans.

I've grown to like her roles as Shana and Louise, before I had a clear understanding of "loli". :P

Before I even watch Hayate, I watched her play as Ikuto in Digimon Savers. Honestly I didn't recognize her voice until Ikuto's character song released. She's just plain awesome. Rie makes average anime worth watching and hyping.

From there, I went to ANN look for more anime where she's a cast. I saw MAL had a club for Aya before, so I took the liberty to make one for Kugimiya Rie as well. Basically I admire all her roles males or females, but you may think I'm bigger on her tsundere lead roles due to my avatar/display pic representative images.

Perhaps I don't see Rie a lot in person, except those seiyuu interviews and live events found at YouTube. Maybe she's not much of an idol like other younger seiyuus. Speaking of which, I wonder why her website http://www.kugimiya.net was no longer available... but overall, I think she's a great seiyuu who's prominent with her awesome high-pitched voice. Not a lot of people seen her in other anime as male characters.

I'm not sure which I fall under. Just happen to be another victim of Kugyu-byou (くぎゅ病). It's been spreading like wildfire recently.

I like the character that she play so far... She done a good job on each character she's play. But of course, it becoz her loli voice. XD

im a fan of her loli voice but i also really like her other voices like shirayuki

first time i heard her voice was as Al in Fullmetal Alchemist, and then later on i learned that she was voicing other animes like ZnT and SnS.

though i must admit.. i love her voice in ZnT and SnS much more than any other of the animes :P

While I have to admit as well that her loli voice is my favorite you have to give her props for being such a versatile seiyuu. That said, last year she had begun to show signs of weariness, as all three "loli's" displayed a similar kind of voice and attitude, when you compare it to her first version of "Louise" and "Shana".

I like her voice in all forms, and particularly roles like Nagi and Shana.
I love the way she says "Ba~ka!"

I like Rie Kugimiya as a voice actor, not just for the "loli" works she has done. Seeing her roles in Loveless, Rosario + Vampire, Nabari no Ou, FMA, and Gakuen Alice make me wish she wasn't typecasted so often. I think it takes away from the fact that she is an incredibly talented voice actress, even if those roles were also very well done.

At first it was certainly her loli voice, but I think I like her other roles too ;).
