according to the TL group she is supposed to represent the Yuki-Onna (Snow Woman) who is supposed to lead men to their deaths. But that's just their guess.   |

I don't think she's a snow woman, because those are generally... covered in snow? I think she was just some freaky monster/spirit/demon thing that he saw as something beautiful with his new eyes (if any of you know Saya no Uta - just like that, but with less people-eating.)   |

this is only a theory...maybe the guys from SnoopyCool, the translators mistook the snow woman, Yuki-onna with Yama-ub, an old woman that can change form to attract victims, usually male, she is found in the forest just like in our case...the old woman look may explain why Okita and Fran are so shocked when thy see the painting... it's just a theory... |
