AHHHH! They kept the masturbation scene for the Adult Swim broadcast, when watching it again I realized just how pointless it is.

It looked like a kiss scene at the end... Shame, I'm more of a LuluxC.C. fan myself, but it's nice to see that Lulu is a genious that still has time for the ladies (unlike yagami).

As for the masturbation scene... It was so out of place and so unnecessary that I really wasn't 100% sure what was going on, though I suspected as much I wasn't sure until I read this thread. Does -anybody- even care about that character?

Really though, Lulouch is being a bit too careless - leaving too many hints towards his identity... Saying he wasn't Japanese, taking off his mask infront of the old man. Not only is that dangerous in itself, but with his collar the others can at least see the back of his head. I don't know what it's like in anime world, but hair is a pretty big hint as to identity, especially when Kallin is already suspicious.

I think the masturbation scene is just trying to show us how crazy Nina really is. I got the fact that she is gay several episodes ago. But seriously, I didn't need it to go as far as that scene. However, if they were going to show it, at least it was dark and somewhat hard to tell. The first time I watched this episode I thought, "What was she just doing?" It was very unexpected.

I loved the kiss at the end! I like Shirley and Lelouch together! We'll see what happens though. Animes rarely have happily ever afters. >.<

Unfortunately, Shirley's father died because he was part of the army. It's collateral damage, you can't do a thing about it. Anyway, Lelouch still seems a bit too "sentimental", according to his reaction when Shirley told him her father is dead.
