| I enjoyed this one quite a bit, lots of humour and Luffy's Grandpa is fucking hilarious. Some great revelations in this episode aswell and also seeing an update on Helmeppo and Coby was awesome. Looks like there won't be too many fillers, if any at all if the next Episode is an indication of things to come with Ao Kiji being in the preview. |

| Yeah, a lot of information in one episode. It was nice to see Helmeppo and Coby as well; it made those episodes way back with them training with Garp actually important :p And I could tell fillers were coming, it was inevitable since the anime is so close to the manga. I just hope the fillers are actually amusing. |

| I'd already put two and two together with respect to Dragon, but it's interesting that he's such a notorious figure. I'm a bit bothered by how much Coby and Helmeppo have grown since they started their training though. They're infinitely cooler now, but it's a bit odd since nobody else has really changed much physically. |

| All the Garp moments made this episode. Repairing the wall, talking about Luffy's past (dangerous situations), bringing up Luffy's father (everyone, forget what I just said!) Garp is wonderful. <3 |

And according to Oda-sensei, it hasn't even been a year since they've started, since Luffy's still 17, so Coby musta just hit a crazy growth spurt (kinda like Nami...) It seems so obvious now, after several years, that Garp is Luffy's gpa and Dragon's his dad, but I'm always surprised that this only was actually revealed 430 chapters and 300+ episodes into the story! So in the same family, we have a marine famous for attacking and helping capture Gol D Roger, the leader of a Revolutionary Army and a kid that wants to be the Pirate Kings. | Wow this episode definitely had some major development and revelations, as well as alot of nostalgia with the Reunion of coby, luffy and zoro. That was soo long ago. I kind of wished they shown more of how the other straw hats reacted to the whole situation, but what ever. Because this was so long ago that luffy didn't even know any one of them accept zoro. We finally find out the identity of the man who saved luffy at logue town. Which is Monkey D dragon, luffys father and that he is at the center of the "revolutionary army" Which is an army that apposes the world government. My guessing, he is probably one of the single strongest characters in the entire story if he is the most wanted criminal. Would that make his bounty be like 900 million or something? lol Might be even more fearsome than shanks. Then of course, also Luffy's Grandfather Monkey D Garp which is one of the highest ranking officers in the marines. Truly a Legendary Family passed down by the generations with the name of D :p I wonder what luffy's Mother is like? This is the first time they also reveal the legendary "yonkoa" the strongest pirates in the world and shanks is one of them. Four powerful pirate captains who rule over a part of the Grand Line that are emperors and who are the reason for the creation of the Shichibukai. This is definitely a shocking story development to any one who wasn't spoiled by it before hand. |

We got a blast from the past! With updates on Helmeppo, Coby, Shanks, and luffy's father! Helmeppo looked kinda cool now but he still has a moonshape face! haha Cody on the other hand looks good, and it seems he's training like the CP9! Hearing about the latest on Shanks was a pleasure! Man, his become real powerful now.. Since episode 313, I was shocked that Vice-admiral Garp was luffy's grandpa.. but the most shocking was the mention of luffy's dad.. I have to admit I totally forgot about the mysterious robed figure in the past episodes.. Embarrassingly during the flashback.. my mind was racing thinking that it was Smoker or Buggy..BIG LOL!!!!! |

| Coby is back in the show, nice to see him but wait a sec, didn't he had some kind of special power? He was really fast when he "fought" Luffy...? OMG Mokey D Dragon is Luffy's father? And that guy who saved him when he was about to be killed by Smoker? o.o" Suuugooooiii! And wow what a grandfather... and Shanks is one of the 4 emperors of the Grand Line? Epic episode! |

| amazingly i didn't spoil myself to any of this, so i was gaga over all the new information. general reaction: !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! seriously exciting. luffy's family must all be overachievers due to the will of d, whatever that is. and it's awesome that shanks is one of the youkoa or whatever. it makes it even more awesome that luffy started his journey with zoro and a tiny raft, without any airs or requests from his family connections. cause seriously, he must have the most important connections in the op world. instead, he sailed around and met random people on random islands and decided to go on adventures with his chosen nakama. just imagine the airs other people would put on - luffy's the best. |

| Wooh Coby and whats his name have changed a lot. Wonder why ace's name isn't monkey like his dad and and grandad what with him been the older son. I still think Gold d rodgers could be luffy's other grandad which is what i thought from day one even if it is a little cliche. |

| Well, the episode had a lot of information, but it wasn't that great in my opinion. It was cool to know about Luffy's family, but some jokes fell flat (Helmeppo not being recognized didn't do much for me) and besides this information overload I didn't get really amazed in the episode. Garp is a lovely character, though. |

| A lot of flashbacks this episode. Helmeppo's growth didn't bother me nearly as much as Coby's. I mean in less than a year, Coby has grown more than a foot lol. I wonder if he's growing so quickly because he's going to be an Admiral. |

| WOW big reveals in this one! Nice to see Coby and Helmeppo powered up after so long but not only is Garp Luffy's grandad but Dragon who made a brief cameo oh so long ago in Loguetown is Luffy's dad! No words. Oda had some seriously great foresight. |

| Jesus Figured it was Dragon when they showed the flashback from Loguetown but damn. That's a fuckfest of a family. Wonder what his mother is like. Luffy has ties to so many strong people. I knew Shanks was strong, but not THAT strong. And he doesn't even have a Devil Fruit Power apparently? I love these types of episodes in One Piece. |
| Well, it seems there is one hell of a road for Luffy to travel so he can become Pirate King. He has to surpass several vice-admirals, including his own grandfather, the 3 Admirals, the Shichibukai, the Four Emperors, the no. 1 criminal in the world, and those four old dudes who control the Marines... Gonna take some balls my man. |
