why is it a pressing matter of life and death when they haven't made the trip into Vincent's timline yet? technically they aren't part of his continuity yet so they should be able to arrive whenever they like no matter when they leave. "where are you staying tonight?" "O, you're very kind!" rofl XD the doctor isn't good at waiting ; ) wouldn't a sonic screwdriver hurt something with really good ears? whoever was putting up those posters did a really thorough job with the tardis while completely neglecting the rest of the alley ; ) half expected a portrait of Amy or the tardis at the end, but I guess they didn't want to deal with Van Gogh's fanbase if they created a fake work attributed to him. |

OH HEY. My first post since joining this group. The episode wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I thought they'd just completely forget about Rory and move on, so I'm happy they didn't. And The DOCTOR isn't good at waiting? I'd say Amy (and pretty much every other companion he's ever had) is much worse XP As for the Tardis...it's a strange blue box from the future. They probably just wanted to cover it up to hide it. And yeah, I was expecting a painting that showed all three of them, just not in detail so it could have been anyone. Guess it's kind of a good thing that they didn't. Keeping with a SOMEWHAT believable continuity and all that. |

I think after the first episode of the season this might be my next favorite. I really enjoyed it. As I said I went to art school and had art history so I think that helped make me like this episode more. |

I really like this episode. It really pulled on my heart strings for Van Gogh. ;___; The Doctor saying Amy and Rory punched me in the gut. On the flip side, I lol'd at the Doctor and his inability to handle time passing at a normal rate. |
