| Wow this episode was just awesome. About Episode: Martin's past seems to be really shit one he had to take care for his drinking mother all the time and mother even't wouldn't love him. So Eva saw Johan in that party. Looks like also Tenma and Martin don't like each other so much. Haha Tenma just always came back to that hamburger place and Martin throw him out haha. Best starting of the episode. Now who was that maniac that knew so much about Martin's life. Was he one of the created child by Bonaparte. And what was really Bonaparte's goal make world with full of Johan's kind of people. And that guy was just maniac. Also didn't knew that Martin llied about his girlfriend and so on. So I guess now the biggest mystery we have who really is Franz Bonaparte?? Martin seems really scared off Johan. 5/5 |

| wow such an amazing episode!! Tenma got beat the hell out of him in the first scene. i already know Martin developed some sort of feelings towards Eva. It seems the Martin also knows there's something weird about Johan. he already sensed he could be the devil himself. i though Martin was gonna kill Eva and it'll be all over. He's basically being played by the organization. and that rabbit teeth dork asshole pisses me off. just looking at him makes me want to punch this guy till he loses his face. this is one of those douchebag people who think they're all high and mighty and think they can manipulate everyone just like that. though was very surprised he knows Martin's passed with Ebba and his mother. So Martin didn't kill his girlfriend and has simply left since he knows there's no more hope for her. he even took the blame and served a sentence of 8 years in prison. he probably killed the boyfriend so that the police will be able to pin him down. and really, Martin should have at least hammered on his face till Johan arrives. such a shame Johan didn't spoke to him, it's been a while since we last saw Johan manipulate someone face to face. the last one was the detective guy Richard Braun who was a friend of Dr. Reichwein was killed when he drank the alcohol while still being in rehabilitation. though i would say Johan pretty much researched on this guy and just told some of the information he had for the douchebag to use. and it's a shame it ends in a cliff hanger. they better show he he gets shot now!! |
| I don't know about everyone else but I feel like Johan should/will kill the guy talking with Martin. He's too obvious about his plans and too loud. It's not like Johan at all, Johan works behind the scenes and manipulates high-power/high-influencing people. Poor Tenma getting beaten up by Martin, why does Martin always jump straight to violence, so unnecessary. Next episode will surly show how Martin was shot. It's funny how just Johan in the same room instills fear into people. I love it. |

| How does the new guy know so much about Martin? Anyways Martin is a pretty likeable dude. Eva lives a pretty pathetic existence, but she's becoming a very good character. |

| Ick. More nudity. What happened to one poster scene? >.>; Anyway, I can't say I want Eva to die. She's irritating and a mess, but under all of that is a heavily damaged person. Martin may very well be the kind of person she needs right now- that is, if she doesn't end up pushing him away too, like she has with everyone else. Even so, I hold her responsible for bringing Johan and that man together. She knew better than that. I want to take another moment to praise the OST in this anime; it really added to the atmosphere and overall creepiness of the circumstances surrounding Martin's meeting of the mini-Johan. The evil nature of the man, the complete and total lack of conscience, the twisted views concerning life and death, it all came together to form a powerful scene where Martin realizes exactly the sort of people he's dealing with. I'm not surprised that he was fearful, shocked. It was essentially a psychological attack utilizing his "weak spots"- the deaths of his mother and girlfriend. Putting that man and Johan together can't mean anything good. I think it's pretty clear now how Martin will end up in a shootout. He hasn't killed Eva and plans on running away with her. |
| I'll be brief here, but one thing struck me when Eva mentioned bringing Mephistopheles and Faust together as a metaphor, with Mephisto being probably Johan and Faust being that new character, and if I recall, he "struck a deal" with Devil(Johan). So, if they follow this legend with Faust(the new guy being a Faustian), then the new guy is dissatisfied with his life, so he makes a pact with the Devil in order to gain unlimited knowledge, implying that he'll throw away his moral integrity in order to achieve power for a limited amount of time(his last talk about end of the world, i.e. causing chaos). That's my take for the time being, I might be wrong tho, might have misinterpreted what Eva used a metaphor. |
