Each flashback of Nagisa made me feel emotional in every possible way. This accompanied by "Roaring Tides" made the scenes explicitly more powerful. Let alone the death of Ushio, while Okazaki still was embracing her.. Manly, manly tears were shed. ![]() |

The part that really got me was Tomoya's grandmother telling him the story of his father and how he realized what he was doing was no different from what his father did and yet he hated his father his whole life. |

True its really hard to focus on that part since Tomoya making up with Ushio stole all the limelight but it was still good :X god my classmates are telling me to stop talking about anime/manga really i just had to go to a school with people who don't appreciate anime/manga Signature removed. Please follow the signature rules, as defined in the Site & Forum Guidelines. |

Tomoyo and Ushio making up and Tomoyo and his father making up. Those events truly signify what the story was truly about, family. The single best moment though, would have to be when Tomoya was telling Ushio about her mama on the train and then started crying Nagisa's name midway. Those flashbacks of Nagisa really doesn't help matters either. |

At the end of Clannad when Akio was convincing/ helping Nagisa to perform when she started crying on stage. His words really broke me into tears, and even though the deaths' of Nagisa and Ushio were devastating as well, this was the part that moved me the most. ![]() |

Man, I think I cried time and time again through this series. Still, after all these years, my number 1 fav anime. :) I think Nagisa's death this time around (my 3-4th time rewatching all of it) was the worst for me only because I became more of a Nagisa fan over a Kyou fan (I don't know why. LOL) So I became more biased and emotional towards anything relating to her. But Tomoya making up with Ushio was definitely up there too. |

Too many moments to remember which I felt most touched by but I voted for "Tomoya and Ushio making up" but could also be when Ushio died Signature removed. |

The part that always made me cry the hardest was when Tomoya was singing the Dango song for Ushio, and then he imagined Nagisa still alive and holding her. He fell asleep with a tear in his eye, and both him and Ushio were holding onto the green Dango like it was Nagisa. ;_; That broke my heart. |

DL21 said: Agree :DI think everyone will agree : Clannad ~After Story~, episode 18, second half. All thanks to Jun Maeda who did both the scenario and the background music, "The place where wishes come true II". Seriously, that guy's a freaking genius. |

For me the part that I find most touching is in episode 19 of ~After Story~ "The Road Home" where Tomoya apologizes to his father for the way he treated him when he was younger. I have a similar relationship with my dad (although it never got violent) so I connect more with this. I never cared much at any of the other scenes. And yes, "The Place Where Wishes Come True II" is beautiful. And for anyone who wants to see the scene I'm referring to, here it is on my YouTube channel. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YMFYYSnKi94 Formerly known as ClannadIsLove. First season, episode 18, the tennis episode. Tomoya and Nagisa started walking slowly beside them. When Kyou, Ryou & Tomoyo realised they never had a chance from the start... And then the twins started crying realising all they did from the beginning was hurting each other. That they knew what the other was enduring but never talked about it. And then Ryou is like ''I'm sorry for all what happened until now...'' HGNNNN |

It's been a while since I've watched Clannad, but I think it's gotta be when Nagisa died. |

Out of the several scenes that were full of emotion, one that got me the most was the flashback sequence. The feelings were just so real since whenever we lose someone, its the good memories that stick around. It also made me think of the ending of the movie The Last Samurai when the emperor asked Algren to tell him how Katsumoto died. Algren simply answered "I will tell you how he lived." It just seems when you truly know someone that you don't tell of how they died but how they lived their life in a way that impacted you. |

The parts where ''Shining in the Sky'' was played. I found that it is the most touching OST in clannad. :) |

~other i cried so much at the end of season 1 when Nagisa is on stage and simply isnt able to perform..and then everyone is like "go Nagisa you can do it!" this made me cry...especially when Akio appeared^^ but i also cried when Ushio said "Sanae told me there are 2 places where i can cry..in the bathroom and in daddys arms" well in fact you have to cry at least once when you watch this anime..its like a rule xD |
