| Okay, I get your point. But still, here on MAL we use the name that's more populair. Which is in our case "The Melocholy of Haruhi Suzumiya", not Yuutsu or whatever it's called. It's always called Melocholy of - so why change it now? Anyway, I don't really care anymore because I think this anime is dumb. |

| For all the people saying that it's an English site and so names should be in English- Using that logic, shouldn't you be watching dubs? You live in an English speaking country, so anime should be in English. I actually have to agree that the original title is better, for the same reason you people watch anime in Japanese. Because it is the original. |
| I would also prefer it to be in english. It's not like 'Yuutsu' is one of those untranslatable words with hidden meanings and whatnot that lose it's meaning when translated or something of the sort. 'The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya' works just fine - plus, it has a nice ring to it too. |
