| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- -Tenshi vs. Evil Tenshi Double K.O.! -Yuri, please. Don't wear the glasses. What should look sexy turns out very awkward. Though, it was a nice little look into Tenshi's abilities. -TK break dancing. MUST! HAVE! gif! -Naoi is starting to grow on me. -It's my turn... get chance and luck! But, what could have been a serious moment turned into 'HILARITY ENSUED' when they turn into nothing more than suicide pawns. It's a damn shame we didn't get to see Yui impaled.. Not sure how I feel about this episode, considering we followed a plot-point that I really didn't care for, or how this will play in the overall picture. Oh well, maybe something will happen next will that will allow for alittle clarification. |

| It's really turning out to be a boring Key-version of .hack somehow ^^° The 2nd half really reminded me off some of the .hack//sign quests, where they went into a dungeon and had the threat of suffering in the real world from it...only that threat is nowhere present in Angel Beats... The end was supposed to be dramatic, with our poor pudding-pie Kanade suffering from the 'Angel' returning into her body...but honestly, I can't seem to care for 'suffering' in this series anymore. |

| So apparently because the coldblooded kanade each have a concious of their own, absorbing them will mean absorbing that part too. Kinda weird, since they were ultimately made from her anyway. I don't see how wanting to attack at the moment of activating harmonics would not only make the doppelganger more aggressive (well this part is still logical, kinda), but would also lead to changing the original's personality after absorption. :S Also, if all the doppelgangers each have a mind of their own, wouldn't it have been easier for Naoi to use his hypnosis skillz? :P |

What happened is that when she absorbed she gathered all clones' pain from the battle, that why she screamed. As far as I can hear the pain is purely the experience of merging with the consciousnesses of all those clones. Truthfully, I can't say that means that would change her personality, but I figured that was implied. |

| Wasn't as good as I was expecting. It's ok though. I hope something truly serious happens next episode. Too bad the sacrifices can't fully enjoy their hug with all that pain they are experiencing. |

That "I'll slice your throat" thing was pretty hardcore. -Why yes, evil smirking Tenshi is pretty hot, thank you very much -I don't hate Naoi anymore. -TK jiggling in the classroom "Hey, yo, check this out, moonwalk...moonwalk, headspin." "Get chance and Luck." Oh, TK. There's a lot that can be debated about this show, but you are one thing that is always awesome. -Wonder if that mass absorption will have any long-lasting effects. |

| Grrrreat Episode!^^ It was hilarious when they "attended classes" and when they sacrificed themselves one after the other! xD Imho the new one was also quite funny with his "You scumbags...expect for Otonashi, of course"-attitude^^ Why don't they make every ep so funny?^^ The story is getting interesting, too, but I hope they come up with a reasonable explanation why Tenshi's got aggressive clones. | I really wish this was a 20-30 episodes show, that way they wouldn't rush everything and would actually let some emotions and character development flow. I mean Clannad was a good 23 episodes long (just Clannad, not AS), and that was almost perfect. Giving this show only 13 episodes is going to massacre the ratings. Potential has been shot :( I loved the idea of this plot too. |
