| you need tai to be good with weapons still, taijutsu is hand-eye coordination, weapon skill is how well you can use and combine the weapons and what they do themselves, to counter and block with a weapon you move your arm, the swords and such are extensions of your body, so you still need taijutsu, even if only a little if you use close-combat weapons. and what im saying is to be good at close-range combat you cant really specialise, if you are 6000 speed people will ignore your punches, otherwise i'd have 6000 speed and just run full pelt at someone with a knife in front of me to make an insta kill, it doesn't work that way because people dont pay attention to momentum and say 'your not strong enough' or 'you can use a kunai in that manner' and other crap. same with strength, people will just dodge your attacks. you need speed and strength. just like you need tai and weapon. that is why it's imbalanced, make a npc close range and fight me as i use a npc long-range, i'll play like how i see others play and you'll see how imbalanced it is. |

| @rus: No 0 in a stat simply means that your are as good as an average person at that 'stat' so if you have 0 speed it means you can run at an average speed. @J: once again you do not need tai and weapon. yes it is a good idea to but it is not a must. Also you are now ranting about what other people do when facing a melee fighter, that is obviously not a fault of the system it is a fault with the players, simply say "hey you can't do that" and call god mode, it is a simple as that. You are just trying to change the system so that all round melee fighters can compete with highly specialized ninjutsu users. Wanna know why specialized ninjutsu users win? because they sacrifice every other aspect of their abilities in order to boost that stat. If there was a guy running around with 3000 speed and 3000 weapon skill, they would be a force to be reckoned with. So don't go blabbing about how the system is imbalanced because it is not, you just don't know how to use it right. |

| @wolfman: kisame is more ninjutsu and chakra...you hardly see him use his sword or taijutsu, zabuza uses his sword and taijutsu, but also ninjutsu. @haissem: that's incorrect, cus i've been boosted higher then that in those categories and more using eight gates and i still lost against a ninjutsu user. also wep and tai, good idea, but their relation is the exact same as ninjutsu and chakra, and strength and speed, along with genjutsu and intel, they go hand in hand, otherwise tell me how they don't, because weapon skill isn't a fighting style by itself, by itself it's just throwing weapons, if you are a swordsman and only have wep skill you get owned, look at tenten, she'll die if she went into close combat from what i've seen. and yous have all twisted my initial idea WAAAAAAAY out of proportion, i only gave suggestions as to how to fix a problem and try to get others to understand how i came to the conclusion i did, hoping someone would find a better way but here's a briefing showing my understanding, if you can puncture a whole in it then go ahead. and some people may say "if it ain't broke don't fix it" well here is my proof to show my understanding that it is broken. it's like an illness, you might not realise you have it and then you die because you thought it was nothing. NOTE: These are all what I understand, if somewhere i have misunderstood then tell me and prove it, give an example, otherwise i won't be convinced. |

Ninjutsu users specialise, just learn to specialise and quit your whinging Here now let me do what you did but do it my way. Note: 1. Chakra is optional for Tai and Wep because if you are an all out tai/wep user you won't be using ninjutsu as such won't be using chakra therefore you do not need a large chakra pool. Therefore it is not counted as a must. 2. Intelligence is optional for Tai and Wep because it is a way to further specialize, it is nice to have small defense against gen but it is not necessary. (this may sound contradictory to me saying intel is an important stat but sacrifices must be made when specializing) As you can see each area has 3 stats, this is what happens when you specialize, you 3 stats will be high but you will have more weaknesses. This is what people who focus on ninjutsu do, they sacrifice all melee capabilities to be good at ninjutsu. So jyenh here is my suggestion to you if you think you lose to easily, learn to specialize and quit expecting to win easily as an all rounder, all rounders do not have high stats so get over it. |

| .... Right. 1. Specialised in Taijutsu with arms and legs = dangerous. Lose a limb and you're most likely toast. 2. Specialised in Weapon skill with your weapon = Dangerous. Lose your weapon and you're most likely toast. 3. Intel is for countering genjutsu or for augmenting your own. Useful. 4. Speed is for being fast. Speed equals strength while moving to some extent. 5. Strength is for hitting hard without moving. 4+5. A speed user without strength could run all he'd like and then try to punch a hole in a wall and all that would result in is him splatting an arm since he ain't strong enough to deal with the force. A strength user without speed could obliterate the wall but not run so fast. If you need tips how to fight with only strength then watch tsunade fight orochimaru. 6. Ninjutsu is for using ninjutsu. Simple. 7. Genjutsu is for using genjutsu. Simple. 8. Chakra is for doing almost everything. Some people have more, some people have less. We chose to have this stat the way it is because making up too many stats to place your sp in would only serve to make everything way too complicated. Therefore pretty much everyone has the same fundamental ability to mold chakra. Unfair? I think not. Lazy? maybe, but it works imo. 9. Tenten sucks on so many levels it's not even a point in bringing her into the discussion. She's also Long Range, ofcourse she'd die in close range. 10. Completely off topic but sanji is a frikkin master cook. Of course he can use knives. And he only use them on food. Not once has he ever cut another person. To summarise. In order to become awesome with your sword, you need stats in Weapons, speed and/or strength. That's 2-3. To be awesome in Taijutsu, you need stats in Taijutsu, speed and strength. That's 3. To be awesome in genjutsu, you need stats in Intel, Genjutsu and Chakra. That's 3. To be awesome in Ninjutsu, you need stats in ninjutsu and chakra. That's 2. These are the four ways to specialise in this club. Two that can come off with 2 stats and two that can come off with 3. Everyone has weaknesses and everyone has strengths. Where. Is. The. Frikkin. Issue? |

| @hai: intel isn't a must for ninjutsu, otherwise it's a must for all others. also i'm not that all round, i have some points in intel to counter a bit, speed and strength to aid in weapon and taijutsu, a little bit in tai in case i lose my weapon, and then i got told to cast ninjutsu and use chakra i need to have some in each stat so i put some in them. last time i check, which was quite a while back, i have the highest single stat, so don't say i'm an all-rounder, i use weapons and then augment that with speed and strength, the others are just back-ups. @bill: and THANK-YOU for finally explaining it in my layout so i can understand where i went wrong and thank-you for understanding the other points i was stressing in my arguments about not relying completely on one stat. |

| @wolf: my guy has 3 swords at his hip, and an umbrella made up of about 36 blades, and each sword can summon/unseal a near, if not a, infinite amount of weapons. but if all get lost, which is a possibility, or i'm stuck with a wakizishi i'm down. read my character before hand, especially my whole section in my bio dedicated to my weapons and their history. @forsaken: thank-you |

| I was wondering since one can create jutsu's, kekkei genkai's, and their own villages. Would they be able to create their own clans ? And one more question that can be easily be on ones own accord. Are Kekkei Tōta's allowed ? ''IF'' they were to ever be allowed they should be ultra Nerf'd and the users would ''only'' be able to use two of their respective elements ( instead of three ) including their Tōta. |

| Why would they think melee fighters are underpowered ? I mean most ninjutsu requires the user to perform hand signs. A fast melee fighter could chop a ninjutsu users hands off and it would be over, unless that person can regenerate. I would say that the Kekkei Tōta should go to select few.. mostly to those who belong to villages and have branched off to have a village of their own, but they must discard their present kekkei genkai to obtain, or ''develop'' a Kekkei Tōta to make things uncomplicated. What you said works as well <.< But, seeing someone with two kekkei genkai would be scary. |

| well the mizukage has two because water+fire results in 2 different things, lava and boil. that could happen with my tsuchikage since he has earth+water, i used them for steel kekkai genkai but earth+water can also = wood. but if i had the choice to evolve my kekkai genkai into a kekkai tota it would be epic, some kind steel dust release lol |

| That could be catastrophic as well having two kekkei genkai fused together. Example: Lighting + Water = Storm Example 2: Water + Fire = Boil A storm that can melt you away would be horrific, so ''if'' tota's are allowed I would still limit the person to only be able to use two of their elements. Unless, there was to be some kind of arrangement, or agreement among the admins. Hmmm..... Why not liquid metal ? For your kekkei Tota ? It will not only have the characteristic's of water, but it will also have the durability of earth and the hardness steel. That would indefinitely give you an advantage, on the battle field. |

| @tox and hai: actually i dont think a kekkai tota is combining boil and ice (an example). i think its combining fire, water, wind (from the example) equally to make something new. i dont think that person would be able to any of the combinations of only 2 elements for it to be accepted in this club. and to tone it down a bit i think if someone in this club has a tota they should only be able to use c-rank and below jutsu in the fire, water, wind elements on their own. |

Those were our examples of what would happen if the bloodline were combined., that's the admins decision to allow how many elements one can have and by from what I've seen so far <.< some people are very powerful enough with just one, or two elements. Now with me thinking about it, some people will push it with the three element idea to try to make themselves extra powerful to avoid from being beaten, or killed. The Kekkei Tota and having a third element was just a question <.< What Hai and I said on post 227 and 228 are reasonable and fair to avoid ''Godness'' amongst rp'ers.@Wolf |

| if i train enough with water techniques do you think my character could use a rust release? cause it would make sense because steel could be a sub-element of earth. the only problem i see is that rust would be strong against steel which would make the sub-elements reverse what the normal ones are. water->earth->lightning->wind->fire-> heres what i see the sub-elements being: water-rust earth-steel lightning-? wind-gust fire-blaze (i dont know what lightnings sub-element would be) |
