I honestly can't even think of any dubbed voices I've ever had a serious problem with. I'm honestly drawing a complete blank. I guess if I absolutely had to pick something, Zodd the Immortal (Berserk) or maybe even Guts could've been voiced by Dameon Clarke. I don't recall having any qualms with their current voice actors, though. |

Lastly, I hate to be "that person" but I would really like to hear some different, under-appreciated, and lesser used VAs to be casted. It's not like I don't want Mr.Bosch to get work, I just want others to get some work as well, you know spread some of that puddle of Voice Acting money around a bit, get some new talents out there and the whatnot. FUNimation has a whole slew of impressive Dallas-based VAs (some that's barely done anything), they should used them, darn-it. Also I don't think that just because a Japanese VA voice a certain character then a American VA should voice the same role. I really think that's silly, and really shouldn't be what influence that decision, because if I following that kind of logic I would also recommend Vic Mignogna because they played the same character in Air or Robert McCollum because they played the same character in Kaze no Stigma. Not much of a reason to me, but to each their own. And that's basically why I would want J. Michael Tatum over Johnny Yong Bosch. But, I can't wait for the official cast to be announced and that probably won't happen till closer to the end of the year. But I have an awesome feeling that the Hetalia cast will be announced during of the big cons either AX or Otakon, can not wait. Also Greg Ayres for Ciel, BIG NO. |

| @ DarkPaladinX: Okay, okay, okay, okay, wait a minute! Why didn't Funimation announce the release date of the DVD, the dub cast or any of this at Anime Expo or something?! They're not even simulcasting Season 2 yet on their website/Youtube, even though they said they would! Sometimes it bothers me when Funimation or any other company handles a show's release with little-to-no advertisement so that the show ends up becoming under everyone's radar. Especially when a company like Funimation is more than capable of promoting a show no problem. Look at them hyping the hell out of Hetalia! And then before that Dragonaut and Strike Witches! And before that Soul Eater! But not with Nabari no Ou, Big Windup, or Kaze no Stigma. What is up with that? Is it that Funimation doesn't have that many people to manage advertisement for multiple shows at once or something? But on a separate note, if Bosch is really gonna be Yukimura, then kickass man! If Robert McCollum is really gonna be Masamune, then I'm sure he'll do a swell job, but I fear that I may favor Kazuya Nakai's performance somehow. I mean I've never heard a Japanese seiyu sound so enthusiastic with the battle cries and Japan-engrish before. |

| They seem to like pick and choose what anime they want to heavily promote. Hetalia, Strike Witches, and Soul Eater seems like a no brainer more of a existing fanbase to arouse and the what not. Nabari no Ou, Big Windup, and Kaze no Stigma seems to have gotten decent exposer from them, but in no way like the first three. |

| I got bored and decided to come up with a cast for Urusei Yatsura, just for fun. I know that the Urusei Yatsura movies all received dubs, and I was recently able to come across them, so I want to make this roster before I hear the English voices. Since all three of Takahashi's other series are Viz licenses (and Ocean Group dubs, I think), I tried to use mostly early Ocean actors. Ataru - Michael Donovan Lum - Cathy Weseluck Ten - Brianne Siddall (he's hard to cast... maybe Brina Palencia if I weren't limited to early Ocean Group) Shinobu - Myriam Sirios Mendou - Paul Dobson Cherry - Richard Newman Sakura - Willow Johnson Kotatsu Neko - Himself Before anyone mentions it, yes, I know that the majority of that list were prominent characters in Ranma. The show's acting pool encompassed just about everyone Ocean had back then. :I |

Also, my idea casting decisions for Nyaruko-san is due to something called typecasting, After watching two of his anime roles in Durarara!! and Sword Art Online, and playing Fire Emblem Awakening; I can easily conclude that Bryce Papenbrook does best with his typecast as the "kid hero," "nice guy," and "genki boy" type of characters (even surpassing Yuri Lowenthal in that). This is the same reason why I think he's the best choice to voice Aladdin for the Magi dub and Nagisa if Free! gets a dub. Feel free to discuss in my profile page why you think it's a bad idea (or post your own dub cast idea for Nyarukosan). I'm aware that Hastur's a trap, which is precisely why I think Bryce Papenbrook's a bad choice to portray him. Even though he's a go-to guy for kid heroes, Bryce's standard range is still recognizably masculine. If you want to play up Hastur's youth and androgyny, you need someone who can manage higher pitches. First instinct would be to have JYB do his Renton voice. If you really want to engage in pigeonholing, you can try Spike Spencer. Erik Kimerer would also be a solid choice, given that his standard range is similar to Spike's. If you still want Bryce to play a part, why not have him as Mahiro himself? As for Christine Marie Cabanos as Nyaruko...eh. Just not really seeing or hearing it for some reason. Going off my suggestion of Bryce Papenbrook as Mahiro, you can try having Cassandra Lee Morris as Nyaruko. |

Why not just recycle the entire cast (Kari Wahlgren as Sakura, Michelle Ruff as Tomoyo, Wendee Lee as small Kero, et cetera) and make adjustments as needed? Joshua Seth and Lia Sargent may have left the business, but there are still plenty of viable alternatives within the standard Los Angeles talent pool. |

| I've never done this before, but here's my idea for Toradora! For some characters I have multiple ideas. Since it's a NIS America-licensed anime, I have no idea which voice actors they would pick, so I just fell back to FUNimation voice actors, with some others here and there.
