Haruna seems like a Yandere to me.. Not so sure about the romance part but 1:13 in the trailer said otherwise.. What I don't get is whose side Ayumu is on.. I mean, what role does Eu play in this anime? Ayumu is Eu's bodyguard but at the same time following Haruna's orders and fighting the anti-mahou shoujo system.. Can someone who understands the summary explain it to me?-.- 123 |

A quick review by Divine in http://randomc.net/2010/12/25/winter-2011-preview/ about the show. (copy-pasted) The honorable mention in the 20th annual Fantasy Prize in 2008 — an award to light novels published by Fujimi Shobou — is getting an anime adaptation. The story follows high school student Aikawa Ayumu (Majima Junji) whose fate would be forever changed after a chance encounter with a silent and emotionless girl clad in plate armor and gauntlets. Not long after, he falls victim to the serial murders that have happening around town, and is resurrected as a zombie by the girl, Eucliwood Hellscythe a.k.a. Yuu, who turns out to be a necromancer. Serving as her bodyguard in his new immortal state with six times the muscle capacity of a normal human, self-regenerating abilities, and inability to feel pain, Ayumu inadvertently snatches away the powers of a magically-equipped genius girl named Haruna (Nomizu Iori), who’s come from her world of Villier on a school credit assignment to hunt down hellish monsters known as Megalo. That marks the beginning of Ayumu’s life as the undead, along with the two girls freeloading at his place. To add to an already unusual plot mash-up, there are also vampire ninjas thrown into the mix, namely one Seraphim (Hikasa Youko), who wants Yuu to resurrect their leader to settle a hundred-year-old dispute over a successor, and is protecting her from reformist vampire ninjas that don’t want to see it happen. Magical girls, necromancers, and vampire ninjas. I can’t say I’ve seen anything like this before, especially with a tomboyish character named Yoshida Yuki a.k.a. Tomonori (Kanemoto Hisako), who turns out to be some mixture of them. The producers are promising laughs, battles, shocking revelations, and unexpected twists, which I’m inclined to believe since I’m still not entirely sure where this one’s even headed. Simplistic beauty can't be appreciated by someone who looks for something grand in everything he watch. |

It's over now, and contrary to a lot of predictions--it was awesome. One of the best of a strong season. In my next life I want to collide at the corner with the cute transfer student carrying a piece of toast in her mouth......rodac Must...not...feed...trolls.... |
