| I've been looking for mangaka similar to Yoneda Kou. For me most important thing is that her characters are manly, no girly uke with big eyes or character of teenage girl even if he looks like man (vide f.e. Yumeji from Otona Keikenchi). Secundo - she create hot atmosfere without hard yaoi contents so it's not porn. Tercio - story, it might be nothing unique, but must have that something - bitter past, fetish or secret, I think Yoneda Kou fans know what i mean. This far I have found: Mizushiro Setona - she create great stories, but somehow her art is more steamy and less sexy. Miyamoto Kano with Rules universe - marvelous characters (Taira Hikaru is one of my fav), twisted and tangled stories but still not hot enough. Youko Fujitani - great art, but, this far i know, she made only three one-volume stories. Shoko Hidaka - discovered recently, now I love her almost that much as Yoneda Kou. I'm looking forward for more recomendations. |

| I think you'd like the works by Motoni Modoru a lot. Her art is sexy when it needs to be, but she can draw humor like none other as well. Most of her stories have a bitter or intriguing aspect to them, although I definitely think her comedies are the best. I personally like Natsume Isaku and Yamada Yugi quite a bit as well, but they might be less of what you're looking for. Natsume-sensei's art is very clean and expressive. Her stories might be a little cliche at times, but they always have something special about them that makes each one an enjoyable read. Yamada-sensei has a sketchier art style that I love. While her stories will occasionally feature a feminine uke, they're still great reads. Her comedies are also top-notch. |
| Suzuki Tsuta is the closest I've seen to Yoneda Kou's artwork style and humor. Suzuki Tsuta is slowly becoming one of my favorites along side Yoneda-sensei. |
