I'm not overly impressed.

But there's room for development. 50 episodes is probably way too much though, we shall see.

damn golgo 13 is a badass

Well so much that led up to one shot, just shows how badass Golgo is.

The ED animation cracked me up when he hit it and quit it

Not sure I can hang on for 50 episodes of this, though.

I wish a different studio was producing it, the episode felt more hazy than the gritty feel I think they were going for. Oh well, I'll wait a few more episodes to see if I'll be sold on it.

I don't think you've watched enough anime to be saying that.

I kind of liked this episode - well I thought the animation was a little shoddy but I thought there was enough bad ass Golgo 13 action to convince me to watch a few more episodes. The good (or bad depending on how you see it) thing about Golgo 13 is that it is episodic so you don't necessary have to watch all episodes in sequential order in order to know what's going...

Ever aspect of this anime is a throw back to old school, the manga started in 1968. Anyway I think its pure awesome, if you're new to anime and haven't watched allot of old school shows. Then you might get bored fast, you're all use to fast action and super high quality animation

Calling someone tasteless because they watch a certain show is stupid. People have different preferences. Sure you don't have to like every single show out there. But have an open mind at least.

I kinda enjoyed this, but at this point its too early to get a firm opinion about it. I'll give it another 10 episodes before I pass judgment.

The animation is bad and the whole concept is too unrealistic for me.
A real disappointment.

Thats a first unrealistic anime, hahaha, and like I said, the animation was done like that on purpose.

Doubt I'll watch this series all the way through but it was pretty entertaining.

It's not the first unrealistic of course...but simply one of the worst unrealistic anime I've seen so far. ^_^

That was quite badass, but the atmosphere was not what I was hoping for.

Again basing an opinion on 1 single episode >_> Is it so much to ask to at least give a series a chance? Oh wel.

Reminded me alot of Zaizen Jotaro, which is a very bad thing. But There's a strong chance that it'll get better.

Bad production value, sucky camerawork, generic character design, script that would fit an 80s cop show, unrealistic depict of human behavior and REALLY fails in portraying what a real plane hijacking situation would be like.

I mean, lol. 1 guy all alone

mhh... yeah a bit exciting and nice at some points but overall pretty much in the ok area.
We will see where this is heading. I'll give some more episodes a try.

I'm amused so many people in this thread expected realism. From an Anime. Honestly you guys.

Decent first episode, I actually liked the slower pacing building up to a climax. Lends itself to some solid espionage action. But then it's also fairly humorless and dry. 50 episodes might be a bit much, but I'll give it a shot.
