The Dark Forest

Mirst stood still at the entrance of the forest clutching only one of her swords in hand. Thinking it was an easy job she only equipped herself with light armor and didn't bring along her mount. She gazed at the sky then moved her attention towards the forest. The thicket was densely populated with trees and seemed to grow darker as it goes deeper. Light doesn't pass through the leaves, she noted.

"This is going to be quite a challenge", she said to herself as she walked in.

Just with a few minutes of walking, Mirst was already covered by the darkness. She could rely on hearing, which wasn't of much help. Different animal sounds echoed throughout. She grimaced as she unsheathed her sword. It was hard to tell from all that noise.

Walking a bit further, silence soon ensued followed by deep, heavy breathing behind Mirst. She turned around only to find that the grizzly was right behind her with its arm raised over her ready for an attack. S***, she cursed, as she motioned for a dodge.

However, Mirst moved a second too late. The grizzly managed to wound her right arm. Pissed, she tightened her grip on her sword and launched for an attack. The bear roared as it ran towards her direction.

"Today's not your day, Mr. Bear", she said smirking.

When Mirst was within the bear's arms reach, she rolled over to the side and made a slash on its back. The grizzly roared in agony. She took this chance to land another attack; this time, a thrust through its heart. Just when she was about to hit, the bear turned around, making her miss her target. However, she did manage to land a blow on the bear's right arm.

You just won't die, eh?

As the bear let out another roar of rage, Mirst aimed for its feet, crippling it in the process. From that moment onwards, she skillfully dodged and landed her planned attacks. Not long after, the bear fell to the ground, growling at her.

"I'm sorry mister bear", she said, as if the bear could understand. "You can never have your revenge at me."

Mirst stabbed the bear in its heart and its breathing soon ceased after a few minutes. She knew she was done with the job and decided to return home.

*Xar enter the forest*

well now i have to find a bear...

*Xar carries on walking through the forest for awhile and came across the remains of a bear*

it would be so much simpler if i could take the credit for this kill, but i shall not as i am a proffesional... well when i want to be, but i must admit, i shall be taking its fur as its a waist to leave it.

*Xar draws a dagger and takes hold of the bear*

ah this bear is still warm, only a few hours dead, i wonder if one of my siblings have been about their tasks, well i'll need to find a river after i've finnished skinning this poor brute.

*and with that Xar starts skinning the bear*

*walks in forset and just reaxl in forest and yawn lighty*

*Xar finishes skinning the bear and washing it in a near by stream rolls it up and packs it after it has dried on a warm rock*

Well now I'm done with that i might as well find my bear...

*Xar begins to wander into the forest searching for any sign of bear tracks*

Mirst was out of the forest where Mirah, her white tiger was waiting for her. The tiger stood in its paws as she stroked its fur. She noticed that there was something her companion was staring at back at the forest. She one hand on her blade, just in case.

"Is there something that you see there, Mirah?"

*Xar continues through the forest hunting down another bear to kill*

Damn it have they all gone into hiding,]

*Xar continues on then catches the sent of something*

If im not mistaken something is near, taking a rather large s***, hmmmm...

*Xar heads in the direction of the stench and sees a rather large grizzly*

*Mutters under his breath*

I've found you at last, and you're a big one. Good, brother will truly be happy with me.

*with the Xar draws a pair of daggers*

*As he does the bear stands, still with its back to him*

that just looks way to fun

*with that Xar starts running towards the bear at top speed, once he reaches the big grizzly with a slight jump he starts running up its back with his daggers slicing all the way up its back*

Cheh, it'll only be a surface wound but it'll be enough to sting you.

*once he reaches the top he jumps from the bears head to the ground facing the big hairy mess*

Come on, your turn to attack.

Medusa arrives at the dark forest ....
looks around but she finds nothing and it's too dark so she drinks a night vision potion and moves cautiously ... !
after a few distance she spots a big and fat grizzly !! she sneaks toward him with her weapon drown .... but the bear notices her and with anger runs toward her and jumps! , she quickly tries to guard herself with her shield but the bear is too heavy for her to handle .... after some Scrambles the heavy bear tries to bite Medusa's neck but she pushes him with all her remaining might , the bear stands on his back feet and attempts to jump one more time ... and At the same time she sees a chance so picks up her sword and pushes it to the bear's stomach with all her might .... !
the poor bear screams in pain and and dies .....!
she says : "mission ... accomplished " and takes the body of the bear to her tent .

*the bear pounces at Xar and as it does where Xar had cut, splits down like seems cut into card*

I'm sorry to have put you in this much pain my friend, im only doing a job, now if you would roll on your back i'll put you out of your misery?

*with this the bear carries on lumbering forward and trys to slash Xar across his chest*

I'll take that as a no...

*Xar once again jumps but this time he lightly lands on the bears back while its running, calmly he draws his short sword, and readies to plunge it into the bears neck.*

I wont say sorry for this, as it'd be a lie...

*with this the bear stands suddenly throwing Xar off of its back onto the ground*

Urfffff!

*the wind gets knocked out of Xar with his impact onto the floor, the bear tries to take advantage of this and tries to slash his face but Xar manages to roll put of the way*

Sneaky... Bugger aint ya, i'll honour you by killing you swiftly now

*with that Xar drops his short sword draws his daggers again running at the bear, jumping and running up it, as he does he runs in a spiral up it with his blades dancing across the bears body. Xar finishes standing on the bears shoulders with the daggers left in the back of the bears neck*

I didnt expect to need to use that much energy, but you are a big brute, and know how to fight humans, you must of had practice. no wonder we've been contracted with your lives... Sleep tight.

*As Xar finishes his sentence the bear topples to the ground, as it does Xar collects his weapons from the ground*

I'm going to have to sharpen this these now, but first i'll have the brutes fur.

*And with that he goes about skinning the bear*

*sighs and yawns even more and lay down and sleep next to a tree*

* I walk through endless trees following this terrible map Xar gave me, and its as I thought he had no idea what he was talking about, Well I might as well head toward the mountains, I head through the shadows staying out of any light and in the near distance I see a cave with red eyes lurking in the back, I sneak up the tree I'm hiding behind and pull out the bait I caught earlier, I though the bait out in the open and wait in silence, The bear comes out and starts eating the bunny, I jump from the shadows and gut the bear.. blood splashes all over the trees I'ma be feasting tonight *

Malice walked through the forest, following the prints he believed to be from a grizzly bear. As he traveled through the seemingly endless forest, he heard movement. He immediately backed into the shadows. Malice then proceeded cautiously toward the origin of the movement. Finally he came about a grizzly devouring some of his prey.

"Doesn't seem as though it has noticed my presence." he whispered to himself.

He began to move from the darkness. He approached the bear slowly. As Malice closed the distance however, the bear noticed his presence. The beast immediately turned away from its meal and slashed at him, as if trying to decapitate him. Malice used this to his advantage, he ducked, allowing the bear's claw cut the air above his head. This attack exposed it. Malice quickly drew his katana, and thrusted at the location of its heart. He removed his blade from the bears body as it fell to the ground. Malice then proceeded to exiting the forest and to continue on his next assignment.

*conan walks through the forest making animal like sounds *
"here bear bear bear daddy needs a new fur coat"
*makes the noises again and the bear appears*
"hello lovely"
*conan pulls out his short sword and hatchet moving in a zig zag formation with grace and dexteriety towards the bear*
"might make good meat too"
*the bear roars and swings it's left paw missing conan by just inches*
"heh"
*conan jumps up and cut with swift force the bears head clean off*
"ya new coat for me"
*conan ties the bears head to his back and drags the bear through the woods to his place*

Morag "Was on her moon snake." "flying above the entance of the forest." "this is too eassy." "She looked for the grizzly bear." "she found it." "she orderd her moon snake to attack it." "She summon the orb." "She aimed the orb at the grizzy bear and it flew to the bear and killed it." "in its head." "Ya my first win."

*Xar finally finished sharpening his blades after removing the bear's fir*

"Finally I can go and end this contract... and I have a bear skin to sell on top of the one I shall hand over for my contract haha"
