Ladd -- His over-the-top insanity was about the only thing that kept Baccano! from being a complete failure.

Holo -- Yet again, a character that saves an anime.

L -- I actually love this guy; the only character that could match up to Kira.

Haruhi -- One of my favorites, not much to say.

Reki -- A fairly likable character, in a slow, but equally good anime.

Haruko -- The third character that practically saves an anime from being plain horrible. At least she's zany enough to be entertaining.

Alucard -- Hell yes.

Souichi -- Rape.

Ladd Russo: Sick! Awesome fighting skills, brutal and sadistic.

Haruhi: Completely insane.

Alucard: One of the most badass characters of all time, puts nowadays pansy vampires to shame.

Souichi Negishi: Hilarious when turns into Krauser-san the emperor of Death Metal! Grotesque!

Okay I havent seen Legend of the Galactic Heroes where most of your favorit chars are from ^^.

Anyway, the only one I know is Alucard, who definitely is one of the best badasses ever. Other Vampires are mostly potential Yaoi material, but not him ^^.

Oh and of course Misato Katsuragi from NGE, which I find to be an absolutely average char, I dont really get why you like her so much.



And because I knew so little o Cowabungs chars and NoblePhantasm wasnt commented by anyone I'll just do those too:

Eureka: I sure like her too, but its not really my type of character and therefore not one of my favourites.

Yagami Light: Agreed.

Tohsaka Rin: I didnt really like Fate Stay night, I dont even remember too much about it, there was just nothing special about it, including the characters (in my opinion)

Zetsubou Sensei: Defnitely one of my favourite comedy characters. We can agree on that.

Haruhi: I dont have any objections, although I liked Kyon even more!

Luffy: Love him too!

Nami: Hm, one of the one piece chars I like less. Her fighting style is lame ^^

Vash: Defnitely agreed!

Re-l Meyer: Liked Ergo Proxy very much, but mainly because of the atmosphere and style, although the characters were interesting too, just not one of my favourites.

Kintaro Oe: He definitely is hilarious. It must be years I last read Golden Boy, that brings back memories ^^.

Spike - truly agree on that one :)
Allucard - really like him too, such power and arrogance ;) love it
Lelouch - the genius, it used to be on my favorites, but I removed it :) He has a personality that appeals to me, but after I rewatched the show, I decided to remove it CG from my favorites
Yagami Light- read above :D

Well three of the best characters from cowboy bebop, they're all pretty cool.

Kamina will always be one of the most memorable characters of all time, great character.

Alucard is also a pretty epic lead, badass that he is.

With all these tough and powerful character chiaki seems a bit out've place... I never liked the cast of minami-ke and chiaki was no exception... I guess she was less annoying than the middle sister but nothing special.

Aside from that a pretty cool list

Kyon is great, easily the most entertaining aspect of Haruhi Suzumiya.

Isaac and Miria fuck yeah. Baccano just wouldn't have been the same without that wonderfully wacky duo.

Haven't really seen School Rumble, except for an episode or two round a friend's. I do remember Kenji being pretty cool though.

Haven't seen any of the others.

Firo- I can't come up with any logical reason against pretty much any Baccano character, sure they don't have a lot of backstory or anything. But, that isn't the point of the show. And, Firo was probably one of my favorites in the series.

Gauron- I heavily disagree with this, I think he is as generic as villains can get. The only good thing is that he was consistently the main villain of the series, but it annoys me when a character is seemingly killed off, multiple times I might add, and keeps coming back.

Max- I remember his speech in one of the eps of Ultimate being insanely awesome, but I can't remember much else.

Alucard- A complete and utter badass, not necessarily a likable character. But, in his case that's irrelevant.

Haruhi Fujioka- I can understand her appeal, because she isn't like most female characters in anime and that's a good thing. I wouldn't consider her a great character, though.

Well, you have Kyoko, Noriko and Motoko in your favorite characters list.

So that's a thumbs up for me. The rest...I don't like so much :P

Hrm, other than Vash, I don't know any of the others. :(

Hmm... L and Light. L is quite the interesting enigma, a good character, but it would have been nice to find out more about him after you-know-what. Light is quite questionable... i'd say he perhaps undergoes some decay after the aforementioned you-know-what happens, but still decent enough.

I haven't finished Trigun yet, but Vash is steadily becoming quite likeable. I found him quite annoying at first, but he's improving, especially since his chemistry with Wolfwood is improving things.

I always found Hitsugaya to be the most overrated character in Bleach. He's completely one-dimensional, and frankly annoying, stuck-up, and takes up far more screentime than he deserves.

As for Goten... i'm curious, how exactly does he stand out against the rest of the cast?

Anyway, I haven't seen any of the others.

Geez, don't get so sensitive because we don't like the same genre. I only knew one character and I didn't like her, why go through a thorough explanation of that?

Goten is alright.
Vash the Stampede, Mugen, and the Prince of Tennis guys are all cool.
I don't know the Initial D guy...
And of course ♥♥♥ for Light and L - especially Light.

There wasn't a single Baccano that I didn't like.
I haven't seen 20th Century Boys, Arakawa Under the Bridge, or Mahou Sensei Negima! so I can't comment on those characters and I don't really remember Gauron or Max that much.
Alucard always scared the crap out of me but I don't have anything bad to say about him.

Ritsu: lol, this guy was hilarious in the anime.

Light: One of the most epic anime guys IMO. Who wouldn't like his crazy chip-eating technique?

Lelouch - Love him ♥

Light - He's cool. Towards the end of the anime I didn't like him very much, though.

Kaname - die die die die die die die

Suzaku - I like him, not as much as Lelouch but I still fangirl him from time to time x'D

Kyouya - Glasses character FTW <3

Itsuki - Who DOESN'T love this cute little smiling ball of sunshine?

Lelouch was alright, if not a great character... shame the universe was always out to screw him.

Izaya is wacky fun. Probably the best, at the very least most fun character in DRRR.

Never really liked Tamaki too much. Even if he was a parody of the kind of character I hate, he still annoys me.

Firo: He was a good character, not my favorite on Baccano!, though. I preferred Russo, Isaac and Mirira.

Gauron: Typical villain who dies and comes back. Meh.

From the characters I know on your list (Lelouch, Zero, Grell, Tamaki), I pretty much like them all. Cool list ♥

Seventh

Beatrice - Not really all that interesting, sort of bland.

Batou - I've only seen some GITS movies but he's a pretty cool character.

Ichigo - Terrible protagonist is terrible.

Konata - Absolutely hilarious, I love her quirky little ways and her voice always makes me laugh.

Naruto - Same as Ichigo

Don't know who the others are.

Johan Liebert: One of the best villains I've ever seen and definitely one of the most interesting ones.

Miria Harvent: Together with Isaac they form a funny couple.

Feel bad that I only know one character on the list.

Alucard: He is bitchin and along with Seras and Alexander make it a brilliant anime.
