| From what I understand, goat milk still has a similar protein structure to cow milk, so Kazuma's bread wouldn't alleviate the issue of a dairy allergy like that. However, goat milk does contain less lactose than cow milk, so for someone with a non-severe lactose intolerance issue, they should be able to eat dairy products made from goat milk. That being said, I didn't realize goat milk had different nutritional benefits and was more easily digestible. While Shokugeki no Souma was interesting for its variety of recipes and the flair of watching them get made, Yakitate Japan is interesting for its specific focus on bread and the different ways they can be made. On one hand, you have diversity and visual splendor, and on the other hand you have specialization and a greater focus on details. Interesting stuff. Also, I love that Yakitate Japan is getting me to do my own research on these subjects, if just to make sure the series' lessons are actually real. |
