Fantastic!!! cannot wait for more X3 i was actually quite impressed with the pacing! (which has been awkward in a few of the episodes) They managed not only to portray the feeling of the Shinsengumi being unwanted, the feeling of a confused a battlefield but also they managed to complete a full archive (of the game) in one episode! it left me feeling rather impressed to say the least! ^^ Chizuru also managed to grab the attention of Hijikata and Kazuma in just one conversation too! XD looks like they may be doing an archive per episode at this rate ^^ i hope they just keep the pacing to as well as today’s episode was done by!! The episode seemed to fly by. Agree about the pacing. Nice action and there were spots where the tension was so thick you could feel it. Well done. Btw, subs are out.  |

I found this episode to be a tad boring but Chizuru's power looks cool. I hope I would like the next episode more.  |

I thought that this was a good episode. That battle towards the end was good, and the surprise we found out about. Maybe her father used her as a basis for that medison stuff? Edit: No wait, that was Hijikata's wasn't it? Oh well, she has something to do with all of this, more then the Shinsengumi know. The next episode preview was pretty revealing too. Looks like this show is finally getting started!  |

I guess I'll put this anime on hold, now that there's a much better samurai show around, The House fo Five Leaves. I really can't stand these cliched dialogues. |

Chizuru gets interesting for the first time here. Looking forward to next episode. grklein, Saraiya Goyou is really promising, right. But I'd still keep watching Hakuouki. What exactly is so cliché in the dialogs and compared to what? |

It was without a doubt the best episode so far - also, Chizuru being able to heal herself was quite a surprise... I don't believe what I'm saying, but... looking forward to the next one! o.o      |
