Ritsu rocks, but they might be drifting a little too much away from actual music. But it's still fun to watch.

Not so sure about Keith Moon though, they should have mentioned some real drummer instead, like Jan Axel "Hellhammer" Blomberg o/

I really hope this is a joke.

'Anyway, this episode gets a 5/5 from me just for mentioning The Who and Keith Moon.

Yui's communicate more during performances turn was hilarious. Ritsu was adorable. The Who shout out was cool.

A bit boring until 17 or 18 minutes, but the last scenes of the episode were quite good. I kinda liked the morals of it.

I'm really looking forward to the new song. Mugi's singing is probably my favorite, with Nodoka being a close second (yes I'm serious).

Ha-cha!

Wasn't bad, but Mio and her panicking is getting a bit old.

Fun Episode with a fairly lame plot. Will they ever start playing? The new song looks like it might be good :D

Well dang, haters gonna hate! I really love this season, and I thought that this episode was really enjoyable, too.The whole 'band communication' thing Yui was doing made me crack up. I love The Who, and yeah, that drummer is an interesting fellow.

Most definitely looking forward to Mugi solo-singing、and pretty much anything else this show has to offer. It's a fun watch.

Yeah exactly my point but even though it's fun to watch would it not be more fun with some more music in it....I am sure they can balance it out.....it's just they are not making the effort.....why do I have the feeling they are doing all this more towards what made this series sell more so they can sell this more.... I am sure there was some sort of poll that asked what you liked best about this product (something like that).

Someone should add links to them around here.....I don't know anything about them nor where to get them....might consider listening to them....I do want some of their top songs though to see how good they are.....

Yeah what about the drummer in Guns'N'Roses or Metallica.....heck U2 beats them all anyways......I don't think anything other than Metallica can beat = to U2.

In spoiler my anime list for now.

Loved this episode. I love all the band members, and it was nice to see Ritsu be the center of attention for the episode. And stoked that Mugi started up a new tune! Can't wait to hear it!

Mugi's new song sounds promising with just the piano itself, but not quite too sure about her singing though...

Aside from the cool Moony refs, there was another legendary drummer reference in this episode; wonder if anyone picked it up?

Cozy Powell! My jaw dropped when I saw this mention, though I missed in what context his name was used. I was exposed to his great drumming while he was a member of The Jeff Beck Group when "Rough and Ready" came out. Really a talented guy, and played with all kinds of bands through the years.

Here's his wiki link in the unlikely event you're bored enough to read it LOL

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cozy_Powell

Entertaining episode too!

I can't help but genuinely like this season more than the last one. There's just about the 2nd season so far that feels like it's playing straight and doesn't try to be too gimmicky with the "moe" concept. It's still there in K-ON, but there's a subtley to it, and I like that. It doesn't feel too silly and cute. I mean it felt to me people were getting into K-ON initially for odd reasons like how much of the silly quirks only appealed to the fandom so that they can upload an animated gif file or an anime-ish facial expression on to the forums.

I strangely liked the whole Ritsu communicating through he notes on the keyboard and Yui getting everyone to notice Ritsu by getting everyone to look at her from behind. And minus the whole "Gitah" joke, I kinda liked how Ritsu got frusturated with learning how to play the guitar, and then when remembered how exciting it is to play the drums. Now if only K-ON can stay that way, instead of screwing me over with the mood of the season half-way through, like last time.

I loved this episode. I could relate to Ritsu and her love of the drums, as a percussionist. Seeing her drumming on her books was great, because I used to do the same thing. Can't wait to hear the new song!

Hey not bad at all.....I could get to like this around the farm work.....I think that one of the songs comes from CSI Miami? I like that show anyways it's nice to look around at IRL music groups to link them to characters of K-ON like Ritsu in this episode to find out more about their tastes....thanks again.

In spoiler my anime list for now.

You all do know that episodes 2 and 3 were fillers? They never existed in the manga.

Epi. 4 does have the girls going on a senior trip in the manga.

Ritsu is not that interesting to me, so this episode was just okay. But I did love it when Yui was "air strumming" her guitar and looking back at Ritsu x) JAKAJAN!

A episode about Ritsu o/
I enjoyed it, since she's my favorite character of K-ON!! (even if she has a boyfriend lol).

And I curious about the next new song too, again "tea" on the middle, its fun how they keep teasing those who complain about the "tea time show" instead of a "music show".^^

apparently she just realized that if you play the drums in all likely hood you'll be in the back where no one can see you. i'm surprised that didn't occur to her before
the only way to stop a gamer from playing is either: beat them, or wait until they get bored (though 2% percent suffer seizures

Considering that they're doing pretty much nothing at all, there'll have to be some at least 24 episodes for something to happen >.>
(Also, I heard 24.. But oh well, slight difference, no matter : D)
