| This episode was VERY entertaining. Of course it had a lot of flashbacks, and one or two of them wasn't really all of that necessary, but a lot of them did feel necessary. And there was less Mr. 3/Buggy filler in this episode. I hope that means less of it from now on. Blackbeard is so strange, though. He acts all tough, but then when he finally gets attacked that act is all gone. o_O It's funny to me, though. lol |

| Damn I wish the fight with Luffy and Teech lasted longer! :(( Thought he was going to fight Magellan, but he took Teech by suprise and hit him with poison, now I can't wait till next week, hopefully it won't be dragged out! Anyone think there will be a filler when this part of the arc ends? How close is it to the manga??? :) |
| ^its around 40 chapters... as it was 40 episodes ago.. we wont get fillers but we'll get the crew adventures further :) so its interesting also :D cant wait to see Sanji there xD |

And what is that guy with the sword doing. Trying to destroy the prison and escape, take control of it or is he working with Blackbeard? Luffy used his haki... Blackbeard also felt some pain.. and that wasnt just from his 'jet-pistol'.. |

| I root for both sides: Magellan and Luffy I definitely hate Blackbeard and how much mayhem and chaos he's creating. Magellan should cover Blackbeard and the crew up with poison more. lol, Sadie-chan's so dramatic Flashbacks a plus here. It's not annoying. If we didn't get them, we might forget. The series is so long anyhow. |
| Interesting episode. It's kind of hard to tell how strong Blackbeard really is. He always seems to get hit with the first attack before he uses his power. Anyways, I'm curious who he wants to pick up in the prison. |

| I was sort of disappointed. I mean, it wasn't a bad episode, but I was totally stoked for a Luffy / Blackbeard fight and it was only one punch each. =/ |
| The flashbacks were long, it's kinda annoying. This episode had less fighting than I hoped for. Next episode would make this better, I hope. |

I doubt he can be defeated that easily. He's pretty resilient. But I do agree. Part of what makes BB such a great villain is the fact that he's human. He's powerful, a lot smarter than he looks and has a powerful crew. But beneath all that he's a human being, making human mistakes. It makes him so much better than your average "God villain" who can only be defeated by a deus ex machina. |

| It's been so long since I watched them episodes, the flashbacks don't bother me and I suppose that actually help me remember. Loved the episode. |

| yeah blackbeard is a weird one, in exchange for being able to nullify people's DF abilities, (which he could do anyways if he learned haki...) he receives more damage than normal, yet still seems to have endless vitality and endurance (kinda like zoro) but nobody ever seems to land more than a couple hits on him before he uses his ability and wins over the df users thatre so used to relying on their powers. which makes me think in the end, he probably needs to be defeated by a non-df user... altho i have no idea how they'll keep from just getting sucked into the shadows... also, i find it weird that he knows of haki, but cant use it? hmm they really need to give us a full explaination on haki already.... i think that may be coming soon in the manga. |
