| note that almost every positive comment about this episode is about the OP/ED. the episode itself was another huge disappointment. the lead-in to the whole situation was weak; i can't say "unbelievable" because it's a show about the afterlife to begin with. but anyway... meh. yuri is a pretty cool character. the other ones annoy me, so i like watching them die. either way... this show is dangerously close to getting dropped after just 3 episodes. |

It's a story and I express an opinion based on the plot. Based on the premise "it's just an anime" we should give 10/10 to every production. |

| A lot better than the first episode in terms of explanation and character building for the heroine of the show along with some bonding. We also had a little drama with her story and how she lost her brother and sisters. Unfortunately the mediocre character design seems to be a standard so we have to live with it. I'm happy that we got an explanation from where the weapons are coming from but i didn't quite get that "we can create anything from anything" thing. How exactly does that work? BTW is there only one Angel or are there many Angel's that look the same? Is there anything that can kill an Angel? If falling in to that burning hell can't kill her nothing much can, so aren't they already fighting a lost war? This Angels remind me more and more of the Agents of Matrix. Is the new guy going to be the ONE! Considering the zero's and one's jumping during fights we could very well have a big similarity. The laser-cut beams are so Resident Evil!!! I didn't like the OP song much although it had nice direction but the ED song was good for me. |

| Loved it. This was a big step up from the first episode in just about every way, and I love the RPG-esque layout (Like, when they enter a new area, it brings it up at the bottom). This thing where nobody dies adds so much to the series. They can quite easily kill off a character without it bringing the mood down, yet use flashbacks of the real world to give us some bawww moments. I'll admit, I didn't find Yuri's past that heart breaking, I feel they haven't built the character enough for me to care yet. Still, Angel Beats! isn't making the mistake of some (SOME) anime for the past few seasons and starting the story too late, throwing in fanservice and shite for 4-5 episodes. I hope it remains similar to how it is. The combination of comedy and drama (Oh, and awesome fight scenes) is executed quite well in this episode. |

| It works fine with me if i shut down my brain for a while..the God in that anime is surely having fun to let those guys making weapon and rebel against the angels, not that i complain Oh well i like the battle, Yuki's past is pretty "waw", i'll make sure to raise a guardian dog or hire a security guard if i that rich and never let your kids alone folks!, First alert for me that this anime not only for LULZ..better prepared |

| I've expected nothing less of Key - an anime that makes you think that it's a comedy, but later it proves to be something totally different. Yuri's memories sure took me by surprise... Also, this ep was even better than the first one. Looking forward to next episodes! |

| Wow, awesome OP! Probably my favorite of the season so far. I thought the beginning was hilarious where everyone started dying xD I lol'd hard when the one guy got crushed by the hammer and the slow music started playing But then...it went into Yuri's past. And I cried. ;_; Having a burglar break into my house was one of my biggest fears when I was younger D: And it's still scares me. And the ED made me cry too. ;_; The lyrics </3 Definitely expecting this to be a tear jerker now. But I can't wait for more episodes |

| Echo: OP and ED were excellent. The episode itself was pretty good towards the end, though the slap-stick just isn't doing it for me. It sends shivers down my spine to think what TJ and big guy must have felt when they were done in my the traps. Brgghh. Also, good to see some drama and character development in this one; I hope more like this continue to pop up. |
| Great episode, thought the I personally don't find the OP super amazing. It has superb animation, that's for sure; but for some reason the song just don't wow me. I like the ED song better |

Yuri's past was a bit tragic but those robbers really took their time didn't they..Animation is great, much focused on the fights, though on 16:35 to 16:39, the part where Yuri and Otonashi were entering the Guild was weird. Story is still fuzzy but let's see. Yuri: "Don't hold yourself up using that!" *kick* Hinata: "Waaaa....Idiot!" |

| I really liked the opening animation but the song is going to take some time to get used to for me... I don't really like Lia's songs at first generally.. I wasn't really expecting Yuri's past so quickly... but I guess it is only 13 episodes after all.. Hopefully it won't feel rushed or anything... |

| I don't undertstand one zilch of what's happening on screen. Seems interesting but I can't comment on something I don't know appart from : the OP is good, Yuri is the new Haruhi, it's definitely got the Key feeling, but it's still quite different from Kanon, Air and Clannad in that it tries to do some new things, but fails at it for the moment. And I still hate the art. It was somewhat of an improvement from ep 1 though. |

But the last six-minute is blown me, and remind me of the Terminator xD overall nice episode. 3/5 from me. |

| This episode had much more action than I expected. Some deaths were pretty hilarious, Hinata's was the best one :D But Shiina is my favourite character so far. |
| The op is awesome. There was an insert song for a few seconds and then bam! The guy got hit by a trap. That was funny. TK's comments are simply priceless! This anime has an epic RPG feel to it. TK is simply awesome. Best character ever. He is the bro of the season! Now we know that Yuri smells good. Shiina fell to a lame trap. Yuri's past! The guild looks awesome. Tenshi showdown was cool. The ED was nice. Overall a great episode. |

| Nice episode was this... I've waited for the op song because I like Lia but after hearing it's not that great... Although the animation is amazing so maybe I'll come to like it after all. :D Hearing Yuri's past I was shoked, it was pulled out quite well but already in the second episode it was a little rushed I think...I wonder how she died... |

| Both songs were pretty good. Piano was win because she wasn't just randomly hitting notes COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO WHAT WE'RE HEARING - rather, it looked like it was pretty realistic (for an anime, at least). Episode was good too. Everyone dying was pretty funny, Guild looked awesome, fight scene was cool too. Yuri's past was unexpected ... Loads of characters are awesome, except I can't remember anyone's names! There are too many of them! ARGH XD |

| Lesse..... Best thing of this ep: Shiina obviously. Anime rule # watever: Anybody with the name Shiina never fails to deliver awesomeness Lamest thing of this ep: Yuri and her goal: Blame her shit on GDO, how dirty and stereotypical..... So-so thing of this ep: the OP Overall: More or less the same enjoyment level as the 1st ep, gain more Shiina & some TK, but no concert goodness in return. Conclusion: Another show to not be taken seriously and only care for the comedy aspect as well as the concert scenes for personal reasons, range pts: 7 to 8 at best. Epic drawing failures here and there despite the superior animation quality. |
